The layout is better in the back rooms (purple and yellow rooms) than some of the other PFs. For instance, the handweights, weighted balls, and kettlebells are all within your reach and you don't have to walk around the gym to find them. It's cool that this branch has an ice rink, though I've not used it yet. Parking is easy. Staff is friendly. However, there's no steam room, the towels are tiny, and unlike other Y's, you can neither borrow nor buy a lock. Most let you do one or the other. Motive Jiu-Jitsu changed my now 11 year old daughters life!!! She joined around 8 years old, and at…read morethat time really didn't have much by the way of friends. She also didn't have much confidence and wouldn't stand up for herself which left her susceptible to being bullied at times. Needless to say, it was hard to watch as a father because I felt helpless. Less than a year into training with Proffessor Anthony, her personality had gone through the roof with confidence. By that time she had a solid Jiu-Jitsu foundation, and had even begun to compete and win in tournaments! And it all started to show big in her personal life, personal relationships, and just overall happiness. Today my daughter continues to thrive, battle, and win Jiu-Jitsu tournaments! She is still that sweet girl that she always was, but in addition is now very proud and confident. She no longer has problem making friends and now quickly and easily stands up for herself and others.
