Andy got back to me very quickly and we scheduled a time for him to walk through to give me a quote. He arrived as planned, and we went through what we needed. Andy provided me a quote and we talked about deposit, and Andy went on his way. I had received a couple of other quotes too, and we went with the lowest bid which was Andy. Now normally I like to go with the mid ground quote, but the dream house cost a pretty penny and we were going to be with them, so cost was a big factor for us...but Andy was nice at initial meet so I paid the deposit and hoped for the best. Fast forward a few days, and Andy reached out to let me know that he was on the way but had a brief hold up. He and 3 other individuals arrived, introductions were made and we did another quick walk through to show the team of 4 what was getting moved. Andy, Dan, Jackie and Steve got to work, moving all of the stuff we discussed. Okay, these guys made quick work of our heavy stuff, you know, all the stuff that our 40+ year old backs need time to recover if we had moved. Or the stuff that would have caused my husband and I to argue, or the stuff that we moved the last time and said WE ARE NEVER MOVING THAT STUFF AGAIN! And I have no idea how they did it so quickly because they did it with utmost care!! In addition to being great at their jobs, these people were all just really good people. They were super nice and just chill people that made the day fly by! Okay, maybe my day flew by because we were going to my aforementioned dream home, and they lifted all the things big and small. The day came to an end and Andy and company came through 6 minutes under the estimated timeframe. This crew went above and beyond and although I AM NEVER EVER EVER, GOING TO MOVE AGAIN...if my fatal flaw rises up again (I creep on Zillow), I will be sure to call Andy and the rest of The Crew Moving Company!!!!

I called on Monday and was told to expect them to show up on Saturday. They even gave me a quote for how much things would cost and a window for when they'd arrive. Saturday came and I didn't hear from anyone so I called back. My appointment was never formally booked. And every appointment slot between when I called and when I had to leave Monday morning was already taken. I was left with a day and a half to move 7 people's belongings including mattresses, multiple large appliances, and dozens of boxes by hand. Thanks College Hunks. Thanks to you I had the opportunity to prove myself as capable of doing two men's work by myself without tools. I'd never have had that chance without you. And for anyone reading this review, if you choose to hire college hunks, make sure you get a confirmation number for your appointment when you book, especially if you've got a deadline.

I finally called to see what was going on and they said the truck had broken down and asked to reschedule. After some back and forth the owner said he'd either find another truck or do my move when they were done with the other move for the day. I told him I'd start moving some stuff down to the new house in the meantime. We got off the phone and he disappeared. Never showed up and never returned my calls. I don't know where all these positive reviews are from, but beware. He seems to have a lot of Facebook friends and no ethics.

Absolutely the worst experience moving ever! Everything seemed great until they showed up. We had…read morephone calls, texts and even a walk through where John even took notes. We felt confident. Boy were we wrong! $15k down the drain. Everything became a complaint or an argument. We had picked them specifically because they said they would build a crate for the lathe and charged another $1000 to do it. On the day John argued he would not move it and had never agreed to. Much less build a crate for it. I ended up providing makeshift materials and show them how to safely move it. When it got here things were bent and broken. While getting boxes in the truck two of them kept pushing each other around like two little kids. They eventually dropped a bed frame on the hardwood floor and then one pretended to be hurt. We saw it. It never touched him but he screamed it broke his foot and was bleeding. Yet somehow he had no issues moving boxes. The same two guys kept pushing each other around until finally one was thrown right where a snow plow was being moved. The plow flipped over and narrowly missed his foot! I turned white. The truck they brought was not big enough. They had to go and offload it and return. That took them 4 hours. We had to walk behind them around the house because they would constantly not grab all the boxes from rooms but close the door and say it was all done. Always an argument ensued. Things like yard equipment, glass and awkwardly shaped things were taken separately on the truck. When these guys arrived they had two trucks and just 3 people. As they opened the truck I saw one of my generators sitting upside down! The lathe was loosely strapped to the side of the truck sitting on the same material I provided. Things on it were bent and broken from bouncing around. All the yard equipment and awkwardly shaped items were just stuck in tall garment boxes. Trim pieces from my truck I had just painted were scratched and rubbed through. Ruined. Boxes were crushed. The guy with the "broken foot" kept limping around. John hardly did anything. Boxes were placed any which way pretty much anywhere. We had to insist and argue for boxes to be taken where they belonged. Things that went into storage were just chucked in and boxes placed right at the entrance. It was a mess. We gave up on having the furniture put back together as we just wanted them to leave.
