Then, within a day of applying online, their recruiter sends an email stating that your application is not being considered because your salary expectation is too high. Wouldn't it just be best for the agency to post the salaries along with their postings? That way, applicants won't waste their time filing out long applications, and their recruiters won't waste their valuable time reviewing applications sent by applicants who were asking for salaries over what the agency was willing to pay. Strangest idiotic hiring practice. Applicants have better things to do than to fill out lengthy online applications for postions that pay under the applicant's expectations. We'd much rather pass over positions that don't meet our salary needs. This is just a little advice for the agency to consider. Other than that, the agency does really good work overall.

The staff is polite and kind however the wait time to receive care is very concerning. If you have a dire emergency and did not come to the ER via ambulance, it's difficult to locate parking and the walk to the ER entrance is a significant walk distance from the parking garage. Thankfully my emergency is not life threatening, but if it were, the wait time alone could be critical and negatively impacting to health improvement. In the future, I would consider going to a different hospital for emergency care.

Whenever I visited her, I never saw a nurse or doctor enter her room. The only person that I encountered was a respiratory therapist. I'm not going to say this place was bad but it wasn't great either. It was in fact a ghost town most of the time. I knew there were patients there but it seemed to me like the staff was minimal. If you ever have to be here as a patient please ask questions and also show up for your people as much as possible. The quality here is lacking.

She arrived alert and improving -- we left with her unresponsive and barely clinging to life. I begged staff to transfer her when I noticed her declining, but I was told she was "stable" even though no meaningful tests were being done. Meanwhile, she was being neglected -- left in soiled bedding for hours, call lights ignored, basic hygiene forgotten unless we pushed for it. We found medical devices like her suction tubing on the floor multiple times. Her room was never cleaned -- not once did I see housekeeping come by. When she was moved to a different room, the bathroom was filthy. I have video and photo evidence of the unacceptable conditions. The case manager (Ashley) was extremely rude and unhelpful. No one took accountability. Even after insisting on answers, I got nothing. We had to pay for a private ambulance to get her back to Northeast GA Medical Center, where she was stabilized within an hour and placed in the ICU on a ventilator. She is now in critical condition -- something that never should have happened. This facility's negligence put my mother's life at risk. If you are considering Select Specialty, please reconsider. No one deserves the treatment we experienced. This place needs to be fully investigated.
