After having a good visit here yesterday and then reading the harsh reviews and ratings, all I can…read moresay is, the staff here is working hard for the health of their patients and deserves more appreciation! The technicians who did the MRI and scans were polite and professional. The facility is clean and comfortable. There is plenty of free parking and the building is easy to find and in a convenient location. The administration is switching to paperless, and during this transition time, patients are required to fill out a bunch of paperwork and then fill out a duplicate questionnaire on a digital tablet. Yes, it is repetitive and annoying. I wish administration had figured out a better way. But there is no reason for patients to be aggressive to the front desk staff over this policy that they are obligated to follow as part of their job. Also, this is not an emergency room, and anyone who complains about that, needs to realize what this facility is here for--imaging. While I was waiting, I saw someone come asking for emergency medical treatment. The woman at the front desk explained that he would need to go to the ER. (I didn't hear what his illness was). Furthermore, a patient needs to have a prescription from a Dr to come here. I saw another person walk in saying he needed an xray and when the staff explained they can't do one without a Dr's signed Rx, he was angry. Lastly, the front desk staff requests every patient to use Purell upon entering. One woman I saw refused to sanitize her hands, saying she had just done it in her car before coming into the building. The front desk staff asked three times nicely and the woman refused every time. Guess what? The fourth time, the receptionist took an angry tone and then the woman complied while making a face. Based on what I witnessed and experienced yesterday, I think the staff here are doing a amazing job contending with problematic situations all day long! Everyone who is still coming to work in health care these days has my gratitude!

I had a very disappointing experience at the University Radiology Group location in East Brunswick…read more This is not the first time I've noticed that I am directed to use the self-check-in iPad while other patients who arrive after me are immediately called to the front desk and assisted by staff. During my most recent visit, there was no one being helped when I approached the front desk, yet I was told to use the iPad instead of being assisted. While I was checking in, other patients arrived and were immediately called to the desk. I politely asked why they were being helped while I was always sent to the iPad. The front desk employee told me it was because those patients were walk-ins. I then asked, "How did you know I had an appointment if I hadn't even said a word or given you my name? My appointment isn't written on my clothes." I felt the explanation did not make sense and did not address why I was being treated differently. The situation became even more upsetting when one of the front desk employees raised her voice. When I respectfully asked her to lower it, she replied, "I was born like that." It was only after I told her I was going to record the interaction that she lowered her voice. I found this behavior unprofessional and disrespectful. I felt I was treated differently from other patients. I cannot say why, but because this has happened more than once, it left me questioning whether I was being treated fairly. Every patient deserves to be treated with the same courtesy, respect, and professionalism. I do want to recognize that the radiology technologist who performed my exam was kind, professional, and respectful. My complaint is specifically about my experience with the front desk staff, not the clinical care I received. I hope management addresses this issue and ensures all patients are treated consistently and respectfully from the moment they arrive.

I cannot believe all the negative reviews. I found this imaging center to be not only…read moreprofessionally run, but everyone was so helpful and friendly! I had a lot of imagine done here and was never waiting longer than 5 minutes, if even that long. Very compassionate drs, techs and nurses. Overall the best experience ever at an imaging place.

I've been going here for breast screenings for years and it used to be fine. Unfortunately this…read moreplace has taken a turn for the worse. A recent visit started out bad - the brusque nurses assistant explained how I had been scheduled for the wrong procedure as if it were my fault, while wearing an impatient look on her face to demonstrate she didn't have time for my questions. After changing, I was put into a private women-only room, but with the TV blaring loud political news. I asked if I could move and they said I could wait in the general waiting area (with a paper gown and no bra? No thank you!). Finally called in after more loud TV stress. After my procedure (the tech was very nice) the doctor entered and quickly gave me information about three procedures that I'd never heard of, inviting me to schedule more expensive tests (I know the costs now because I have an HSA) without even first giving me the results of the test I'd just had. I had to ask her for that!!! Now doctors are upselling, I guess. Then the brusque assistant did another test. When asking me about my medical history she got many facts wrong. When I corrected her she repeated the incorrect ones, clearly not understanding. She finally got frustrated and insisted that I leave the imaging machine, and go, topless to fill information in on my form, correcting the facts she had missed. This was humiliating to say the least. Finally, after two hours, a procedure that should have taken 1 hour and had turned into an ordeal, was over. Never again will I go to this location.

It's difficult to understand the negative reviews. I've been going here for more than 2 decades…read moreand never found the experience inadequate -- except for the occasional front desk admitting staff that sometimes forgets about notifying you about a hard copy CD -- after 20-30 mins. However, the screening technicians know what they're doing and are exceptionally focused. I'm not there to be catered to. Just need results to my physicians which they always deliver a.s.a.p.

Be aware of possible scamming with their billing. Went to Barnabas emergency room back in October…read more2025, received a hospital bill that got completely paid off with my insurance. Then today March 2026 I'm notified that THIS company has sent me to collections for a $415 bill that appeared out of nowhere. There's no charge or trace of this bill on my actual hospital bill/receipt. In the months that have passed they have never contacted me or made it known in anyway that I had a bill with them despite having access to all of my contact information, address included. It's as if the bill appeared out of thin air. I called customer service hoping for access to more information on this charge and (as is my right) the option to pay with my insurance, I was denied both immediately. I was told there was no way for me to access the bill or ANY information with University Radiology despite them being responsible for the charge, I was denied the option to pay with my insurance and was told I had no choice but to pay the $415 to the debt collectors ( Remex inc) who also provided no information on this sudden charge and is leaving no option but to pay off the bill TODAY . As someone who now has to cough up almost $500 for a mystery charge or suffer bad credit I seriously recommend avoiding any hospitals working with them you can check who they work with on their website at the bottom of the page.
