Never been serviced by anyone else than the Chevy Dealer so I thought this was very worrying that this was not caught nor had I been told at the oil change that this was a problem. Weirdly that oil change was given for free as a 2 for 1 deal since I went in with my significant other. I decided to ignore them and just watch the oil. Went to get my next oil change back at the dealership and they actually said ABSOLUTELY NOTHING was wrong other than some air filters. Very odd! I have a large camper van that's over 8 feet tall and over 8700 pounds, so it's not easy to find an…read moreauto repair shop to service it (even though it's basically a Dodge b3500 Van that dodge has been making for over 2 decades) Bill(manager) did some research and decided that he would take on my van for a starter RR. It was dropped off at 7:30am and was pleasantly surprised by a 11:30 pick-up call. Bill's quote for a starter RR was about $450, being a very good price as it would have been several hundred dollars more from a RV center and would be several weeks before they could get to it. The kicker being that it didn't need a starter after all, it was just a wire from starter to relay that need to be replaced, saving me hundreds of dollars more. Thanks, Bill, for your honesty and getting me on the road again.
