Awesome, awesome service!…read more I just moved to Burlington and needed a mechanic asap. I called around 3pm, left a message, and received a call back within 5 minutes. Wayne sensed the urgency of my situation, (my brakes were shot,) and told me to bring my truck first thing in the morning. The next morning, they took my truck and told me it would be approx 2 hours. I was planning to wait there but they offered to drive me to the Tim Hortons up the street to wait! Awesome! About an hour later, Wayne calls saying he took a look in the back and that those brakes were done too... (I wasn't surprised,) he gave me an estimate and said it would be a bit longer because of the added work but that he had 2 guys on the job for me... I told him to go ahead with the back breaks. Two and a half hours later, he comes to pick me up, with new brakes at a totally fair price. I was even able to get to my early afternoon appointment! Seriously...the service, accommodation, and price was fantastic. I found my new mechanic. Highly recommend!!

Wayne didn't charge a penny over his estimate (which was a good $200 cheaper than the dealership), even though it took 5 times the amount of labour quoted. I have been back several times, and they have been great every time!

I've been going to Future Trends for the past few years after seeing so many great reviews and…read morerecommendations on a Facebook Group called Burlington Together and I'm so glad I listened. Where other mechanics might otherwise upsell you or commit you to extra work, I've actually had several instances where they've come back and given me the facts to help make a decision on how to proceed after a diagnostic and often they've even been honest about work that can be deferred or omitted completely. Don't really see that much, in my experience. No sticker shock either, the service fees also felt proportional and reasonable or well within their estimates, if not lower than estimated. Finally, I've dealt with the same receptionist there since we switched over and I've always felt she was professional and knowledgeable. Maybe not overly bubbly or sweet or anything, but why would that be a deal-breaker to the point that you would stop going to a unicorn mechanic? This is referring to a previous review complaining about the receptionist, but praising Dan the the shop. My guess is you'll end up back there within the year. I don't tend to pay much attention to reviews from people who only go on these pages to complain, and out of your 30 reviews they 28 of them have been 1s or 2s out of 5. That's not feedback that's entitlement.

This post is about the receptionist, Jenn. She has to be the nastiest receptionist I have ever…read moredealt with. She acts like she is doing you a favor by allowing you to speak to her. I have been taking my cars to Dan over the years, maybe since he began his business. This woman will talk down to you over the phone or not even look at you when you are in the shop. She thinks she is getting one over on you by using language that only most mechanics will understand, but what she is really doing is losing good customers for Dan. I will never go back to Future Trends because of Jenn; it's too bad because Dan is a good person.

Be very careful with doing any business with "Good Cars Only" and Brian Velenosi. I contacted them…read more3 times for a carfax/vehicle history on a vehicle that was advertised. All 3 times Brian Velenosi decided to ignore a potential new clients request for information on a used vehicle for sale, which is standard practice to protect consumers from scammers, damaged vehicles, and lying used car salesman. No used vehicle information was shared even though he had the information readily available. Below was the response I received all 3 times from Brian who thought he was being funny. "Thank you for your inquire the car is here its available we are open 9-6 Mon-Friday 9=-4 Saturday come see it when you have the time." Yes the grammar leaves something to be desired as well. Then he thought it would be funny to start sending blank emails to my personal inbox over and over, instead of forwarding the vehicles history in order to have a potential client come to see the vehicle if it's worth our time, after seeing the history. This is how he manages new clients and new business opportunities. I contacted him over the phone to see if he was physically ok, and he sarcastically answered the phone to tell me he was having weird computer issues which was another lie, in a sarcastic tone. Unable to send a vehicle history report on 6 separate emails was his business practice. When I called him he didn't offer the information, he just continued to be an unprofessional a**hole. I have since posted a review of his very unprofessional business practices on his "Good Cars Only" facebook page which he does not want clients to see how he conducts business, so he has hidden them. The only reason I still do not have a vehicle history is because the vehicle has reports on it that he does not want his clients to see. Shady business practices and disgusting behaviour in business. Do your homework people, avoid this business, terrible integrity. It's a shame because I have never heard of "Good Cars Only" and I purchase 60-80 used vehicles per year with an avg purchase price of $18,000+. Yes that accounts for $1.4M in revenue that he pissed away because he wanted to be shady. This is not a place you want to invest your money in. If you think any of this review is inaccurate, I'm happy to post the entire dialogue with this unprofessional salesperson, and when looking him up on social media, his profile has no info, no images, no interaction with anyone. That tells you everything you need to know about how he transacts with potential customers. After he sells them a car, he hides just like his profile. Stay way unless you want to be scammed.

They ignored the request the first time and told me the car was still available. I replied with a second request for a copy of the carfax, again, I received a reply with "yes the car is available". I sent a third request for a carfax and Brian Velenosi of Good Cars Only thought it would be funny to start replying with blank emails over and over to my inbox. I decided to call the office and he thought it would be even more funny to tell me his computer is having issues. This is how Brian and his company conducts business. They don't want to share carfax information because the vehicles have accident history. Do your homework people, imagine running a business trying to get new clients and this is how Brian thinks is professional. Stay away unless you want to get scammed.

Christina picked up and told me to be safe and come right on in! Naturally I was on my way to work and had meeting after meeting booked so I felt a little flustered when I arrived. Christina took my information and was incredibly friendly and professional. She immediately came out side and did a report on my car and took the tire lock. I went inside and worked on my computer while they fixed up the tire. The location was pretty busy and had many people coming in and out during this time. I was very surprised when less than 60 minutes later my car was patched up and ready to go. Turns out I had a nail in my tire. I work in construction so this wasn't much of a surprise. 5 stars for the tech that fixed my tire and 5 stars for Christina!

I was able to get in on short notice and Christina (hope I spelled was amazing at helping me through the process. I had some tough questions about latex allergies and tires, and she did the research and found answers without hesitation. Murphy's law ...the tire could not be plugged as the puncture was right next to the only other plug repair in any of my tires...not stable enough to repair. I was able to get two new tires for the back right away, and the warranty from my original tire (purchased from KalTire) helped reduce the costs. Thanks again for your help...will be my go to store now for anything tires!
