When I called the front end staff, I explained the situation and told them that it must've been some sort the error because insurance has always covered it and I never left with an outstanding balance. That they always put it through before it left. The receptionist that I spoke to was very dismissive and would not even consider that the staff from 3 1/2 years ago did not do some sort of error on their part. Then she told me that there was the note on account saying that I was aware and i went to go get my nails done and that I would return to pay the outstanding balance. I have never ever got my nails done in my life so this story was completely false and how she excused me out of the knowing when the phone call was just for them to investigate and to see if there was an error on their part. How the conversation changed is very disappointing in the staff . What kind company would allow someone to leave without paying for their service not even including the fact they claim to say that I was going to just pay for another service elsewhere.(getting my nails done) No legitimate company would ever do that. Ever... The outstanding balance is not a huge amount and I was more than willing to pay for it as long as they looked into why I was never aware of the balance and no one's ever contacted me. The clinic has been around a long time, probably 15+ years I believe. I see my Chiropractor Dr. Joan Shaben on somewhat of a regular basis. She is small but powerful! Always have great sessions with her and would highly recommend her as a Chiropractor if you need one. I have also seen a few Massage Therapists there and am very happy in that respect too. I just had a back-to-back (no pun intended) massage visit and then a chiropractic visit and would highly recommend it! They also have an Acupuncturist on staff but I have not tried that yet so cannot comment on their service.

They were so gentle with her and made her feel comfortable and, best of all, it healed properly. I can back for myself when I broke my foot and again amazing treatment. The physiotherapist knew her stuff, asked the right questions, made me feel comfortable and in the end I can wear heals again! Now we are back again. And, now they have Rigs the physiotherapist dog with them. He works some kids to help them. We haven't used him but he greets everyone at the door and it's neat to see him in the office! The staff is just as friendly and as a bonus they are able to direct bill some companies if you have insurance. The location is just south of 91st Street and Ellerslie which means it is quite south but I would say it's worth it! Plus, there's free parking right out front.

I asked my FB cohort if anyone had used physio at a place that was not co-located with chiropractic, acupuncture, cupping, and other quackery, and this location was recommended. WHEW! I could not find one online myself. I have only had online visits with the physiotherapist, Chris Holt, but they have been none the less useful for being virtual. The exercises recommended were directly in keeping with the diagnoses from the sports medicine physician I saw, and Chris is also helping me to monitor for another possible diagnosis that was mentioned. He shared with me the gold standard trial that informed this approach, and I couldn't be happier. If your past experiences with physio involved too much pain for you, I would also highly recommend this practice. It takes expertise to design challenge that will heal the affected area fast enough to allow you to maintain good motivation while not discouraging adherence via pain, and I would say that this level of expertise is definitely available at this practice. Since the clinic is sports-oriented, it makes for a perfect place if you are eager to return to a regular workout, whatever that looks like in the time of the COVID pandemic. They understand that at least one of the priorities you will have is engaging in sports activity, which helps to inform your recovery plan. I grew tired of asking my GP and rheumatologist when I could return to doing X and Y, and am much happier to have a sports medicine physician and physio who keep this as a priority for my recovery.

There is sanitizer all over the place so this was also reassuring. After my first appointment with Gordon Grant, I knew I'd come to the right place. I I had been feeling run down and depressed and immediately after I noticed an improvement in my energy levels. But the big thing I noticed was my mood was better. Dr Helwig has a very caring, friendly manner and is honest-all qualities I look for in a health practitioner. When you ask about certain symptoms you are suffering from he's very clear in explaining what's happening in your body and is very effective in his treatment. He's also really good at setting expectations and educating patients that your health care is very much your responsibility too. I've seen many chiropractors and I'm really happy that I've found someone who I really like and is so close to work-I can go over lunch hour.

My first time coming to the office I had a hard time finding it because there is no big sign, so I called and the kind lady on the phone directed me to the location. It's just around the corner from subway and beside the medical office. Found it! Very nice cosy interior with all the necessary equipment for all your rehabilitation needs. Chris the physiotherapist was very thorough and helped find the exact problem with my knee. We went through different exercises to help strengthen and mobilize the affected area.
