Whole pig
Jesse M.

Great service and helped me with a few pointers . I does take about an hour for pig to be ready. Be prepared for the smell .

We bought and butchered this sheep.
Victoria K.

We went yesterday and are very happy with the sheep we bought and butchered. The meat was lean and will be great for our barbecue and also for Thanksgiving. We will be going back just before Christmas. $280 well spent.

The meat market is connected to the restaurant (same ownership/management), and the meat quality never disappoints. My favorites to buy are the chorizo and the marinated chuck steaks. They also sell the restaurant's salsas in the market, along with totopos, corn and flour tortillas, seasonings, and more. It does get busy, but with the growing popularity (thanks, TikTok), that's expected. Bring a little patience if you visit on a busy day. The market itself is small with limited standing room, but the guys behind the counter know this and move quickly to get your order packed. The restaurant side is busy too, and it's gotten even more so since I first found it. I'm honestly glad I found this place. They have my favorite tacos in the IE. Before this, I'd still drive to OC for tacos because nothing here matched what I was looking for. Now this is my go-to spot. My favorite thing to order is the taco special: 3 tacos with a drink (agua fresca or canned soda), or 5 tacos with a drink. They offer a great variety of meats at no extra charge -- my favorites are al pastor and carne asada. They also have a solid lineup of Mexican food: birria, sopes, nachos, burritos. My daughter loves the burritos -- it's her backup spot when she can't make it to her favorite shop. Every dish I've tried has been fresh, with generous portions. Nothing sits around getting cold, because most food is made fresh as you order it -- which is exactly why there's a bit of a wait on busy days. While you wait, hit the salsa bar. The pickled jalapeños (I believe house-made) are excellent, and the pickled onion/habanero mix is a must-try if you like spice. I recommend most of the menu -- you really can't go wrong. The restaurant and restroom are both very clean. Parking can be a little tricky on busy days but usually clears up quickly. Prices run a bit higher than other spots, but it's worth it.

Everyone here was super friendly and willing to help…read more We came all the way from Rancho Cucamonga to Chino specifically looking for beef knuckle bones for our pup. After calling multiple butcher shops, this was the only place I found that actually carried them. We ended up getting a whole beef femur bone for only $13, which was an amazing price. Can't wait to give it to our dog, and we'll definitely be back for more. If you're a dog owner like us, that's another reason to check this place out. I believe the girl I spoke with over the phone also mentioned that they offer both raw and smoked beef knuckle bones for dogs. She even cut the bones the way we wanted it Great service, great prices, and definitely worth the drive for us.

Now walk around and shop the amazing selection from their butcher cases, ample deli case, or peruse the seemingly endless varieties of sausage and game cuts in the freezers. The staff here are super friendly and great and helping first time customers. They're all willing to find the answer to your question even if they don't know themselves. Butchers are onsite for custom processing and speciality cuts. Really charming bit of old chino, hoping they stick around for decades to come. They do all my custom animal-share processing and do a great job, looking forward to another perfect Christmas ham.

They make you feel as if you are bothering them and don't appreciate your business. I decided to give them a second chance with a deer I harvested. Same attitude same vibe. I brought in my meat to drop it off and they weren't open despite the fact I was there during their listed hours and I had to go home and return a few hour later. When I got my cow many of the packages were not properly sealed. Regarding my deer I just really can't stand the frkn attitude. When you are a small business you need to make customers feel welcome and excited to spend their hard earned money with you. I deliberately go out of my way to be polite, professional use please and thank you and the girls act like you took a crap in their breakfast cereal. In the hunting and butcher world there are plenty of stories of butchers doing shady stuff, keeping choice cuts for themselves tagging lesser quality animals of a hunters harvest and keeping the better meat etc. so as a butcher you need to go above and beyond to make customers feel welcome and want to be a loyal customer. They lack this quality and it makes my mind begin to assume that if they are rude and have terrible customer service then what else are they lacking? Are they honest? Are they clean? Etc. I will not be bringing my annual cow here, nor any deer I harvest. Based on their customer service I doubt they give a care about losing a customer but that doesn't matter to me because I'll spend my money elsewhere and get the quality experience I'm looking for.
