My original thought was that they would provide reasonable service at a reasonable cost. This was not the case. The man that came for the the initial evaluation suggested a cost of about $700 to replace two panels. The final cost came in at $1500+. And the the door was not completely repaired. I had to repair it myself. Not to mention that this gentleman should not be on the job. I had to help him up from kneeling twice. After talking to another builder I found the price should have been half what I was charged. Never again.

A man called me, drove out from another location and helped correct the flashing issue himself (with help). He took one look at the work and agreed that it wasn't looking right. There aren't many businesses out there that will be honest and correct their mistakes like that. Even the guy that worked on it the first time apologized and said he felt so bad that he messed it up even after we talked. Everyone was so cool about it. And my flashing is looking great. I have had them back to check out my gutters and the roof. I trust them and will be using them for any future issues (though I hope I don't have to for a long time.)

Under OSHA Construction Standard 29 CFR 1926.501, roofers must use fall protection whenever working at heights of 6 feet or more above a lower level. Steep-Slope Roofs (Greater Than 4:12 Pitch)A steep roof rises more than 4 inches for every 12 inches of run (standard for most residential homes). Because gravity actively pulls workers down, the risk is much higher * This was on a 2 story house with a walk out basement on a 10/12 pitch. I specifically asked about fall protection for crew during contract signing and agreed that crew would use Fall Protection. Bachman's on site rep said roof is walkable, said Fall Protection is uncomfortable. He also said they get in trouble with OSHA, but don't wear it. * Salesman said a 12 man crew would come and roof would be complete in a day. A 5 man crew did the roof. Crew worked from 7am until after 8:30pm on the roof, sunset was at 7pm. They had to finish the next day as some material was not delivered as scheduled. * A separate work order for gutters was not scheduled until I asked about it. * Lack of communication between Sales, Operations and onsite crews * Unrealistic expectation of crew capabilities versus job size * Bachman office Representative was contacted numerous times who supplied promises but no follow up to me or crew
