DO NOT CALL THIS DENTAL OFFICE FOR ANY NEW ENQUIRY because you will be given the third degree over…read morethe phone by a rude, untrained customer service receptionist. I called Dentistry at Cornwall, Dr. Alma's practice because after newly arriving to live in Cornwall I searched the internet for "Best Dentist's in Cornwall" and came upon this office as one of the top ten listed in my search. Upon viewing the listing, they had a sponsored link advertising "free cleaning with any new patient exam and x-rays". (picture below) Anyways, to make a long story short, the young lady on the phone knew not of this offer, said it was old and no longer would be applicable and was very arguable over it with me. Her level of customer service was deplorable to say the least. My feeling is that Cornwall has an abundance of Dental offices for the population, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTAL PRACTICE IF YOU WANT ANY KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Used Car Salesman of Dentistry…read more I went in for my routine tooth cleaning back in June 2024. I also received a dental xray while there. I think it was an annual thing. I was informed by a dentist (I believe he was new to the branch) that I had 1 cavity that needed filling and 2 more minor cavities that "bore watching". This came as a great shock, as I had no discomfort at all in the affected tooth- and at 40 years old, have never had a cavity in my life. Very randomly, I had recently listened to a podcast that talked about unethical dentists, who do unnecessary dental work on patients to maximize profits. This was a very fortunate happenstance, as otherwise I probably would have gone along with the dentist's recommendation. As it was, I was skeptical. So I went to Cornwall Dental Arts on Pitt st. for a second opinion. They inspected my teeth, and took an xray. The verdict- I had no cavities to speak of. Period, full stop. To add insult to injury, they said my teeth could use a thorough cleaning. The dental hygienist expressed disbelief that I had them cleaned less than a week ago. I agreed, and received what felt like a substantially more thorough dental cleaning than I had received a week earlier at Dentistry@Cornwall. Insult to injury part 2- It was considerably cheaper than I had paid at Dentistry@Cornwall. So, to conclude I recommend Dentistry@Cornwall if you're a fan of unnecessary dental repairs and subpar dental cleaning at a premium price. If you're not- maybe give it a swerve. To give the devil his due, they do have great customer service, clean office, nice receptionists etc. But I think this is a poor trade for scamming their customers, and providing poor-quality work. It's been 5 months. Still no cavity. Question- Is recommending unnecessary dental work actually illegal, or just highly unethical? In either case... Booooooooooooooo
