But if you follow some directions, i.e. I-25 South to West (right) on Hampden (Hwy 285) to South (left) on Federal Blvd to West (right) on Oxford Ave. Turn right at the first driveway after Hazel CT. This is the entrance to Sheridan High School. Follow the parking lot, take a right, go along at side of the school, turn left into the Skatepark parking lot. This park is also known as Sheridan Community Park because its located at North of Sheridan Recreation Center's parking lot. There is also a Playground and Sheridan Recreation Center nearby. Hubs and I were here coz Hubs wanted to skate. That evening was on Friday August 23rd 2013. Yes, the Skate Park have a couple of rails, a decent size to skate around without bumping to another skater what nots. There is a shelther nearby too. But when we were there, unfortunately the Washroom available at this Community Skate Park were locked. Nevertheless, we dont mind returning when needed. I am a little confused coz for one, when its in GOOGLE Maps, this Skate Park is mapped as Sheridan, CO 80110, while through the South Suburban Parks and Recreation website, this Skate Park is labeled as, in Denver, CO 80236. @177/2013

While I might personally pick Denver's Blossom of Lights first, Chatfield Farms is still a fantastic, affordable, and festive experience. Visited Chatfield Farms with a huge group (over ten of us) for the first time on Free Day…read more(11/28/25) with our 11-month-old to test if it was worth purchasing a membership for the locals. The majority of our party lives in Littleton and was excited to check out the location Unfortunately, a negative staff interaction--combined with the management's subsequent response--left us unimpressed and unlikely to return or join. We needed to change a soiled diaper and politely asked the restroom attendant (female, long brown hair) to briefly use the nearby locked restroom for that purpose only. She refused, directing us to walk "down the path" to another restroom she was "pretty sure but not 100% sure" had a changing table, and displayed clear frustration (sighing heavily, pretending to search for security) when we asked again. No other guests were around. This posed an unnecessary health risk to our infant and felt anything but family-friendly. After escalating the concern, the manager emailed us explaining that their processes were only implemented in June 2025 and they're "still working out the kinks." More frustratingly, they admitted the restroom was intentionally closed on Free Day specifically to prevent lines from forming--not for maintenance or any operational reason. Prioritizing crowd control over basic family needs like diaper changes is disappointing for a venue that promotes itself as welcoming to families. I followed up with the management asking what changes had been implemented and did not receive a response. Very unprofessional. Regrettably, this experience has left us neither confident nor interested in becoming members.

The one side is super shallow, flip turns on shallow side take getting used to. There's only flags on one side, so you can't really do backstroke in both directions effectively. It's on the warmer side. This doesn't bother me. It makes it easier for me to get in. -- But a true competitive swimmer may want it to be cooler. I'm not competitive anymore. I just do freestyle and breaststroke. This pool works for me to swim some quick laps and get home. Locker rooms are excellent and its only 2 minutes away from my home. So I can't complain. Just state facts. I bumped it up 1 star because the place as a whole is great and affordable.
