As I'm about to do some International travel within the next few years, I found a great brokerage…read morefirm, notice I didn't say bank, but it's a bank, and it's not! Confusing huh?? I'll break it all down for you in this review. Description: Charles Schwab is an online bank. They have no ATM's which is why when you use their debit cards, they don't charge you. Which means any ATM that does charge you a fee, Schwab will return your fees at the end of the month. That's what I love! Rather you're in the US, or Southeast Asia, your international fees will also be reimbursed at the end of the month. Where to use: You can use the debit cards anywhere around the world without any international fees. Just make sure to call them before you travel or move abroad. If you plan on moving abroad like I do, call them so they will then set up an international account for you because they are also international in some countries. Doesn't matter where you move, you're covered! Pros: 1) No international nor local transaction fees. That's already a winner in my book. 2) You're given a brokerage account on the side where you can use it to buy stocks or bonds or just use it as a savings account. However if you decide to start investing, call them and they can do it for you if you don't know what you're doing, with a fee of course. 3) Return all transaction fees you were charged at the end of the month. 4) After you open your account online with at least a $1, they send you your debit card. After you deposit $100 or more, they will send you your check book. Cons: 1) No ATM machines 2) You have to make all of your deposits online, you can also fund your account with Apple Pay. 3) If you go to a branch, you can't deposit any money there as it has to be done online. Final thoughts: It's nice to find a bank or brokerage, whichever you want to call it with no transaction fees no matter where you go. You can also set up direct deposit for your account. There is no bank that I know of that will return your transaction fees let alone not charge you for using a different ATM. As I've stated earlier, the only reason they don't charge you is because they don't have ATM's in the first place. This place is a clear winner in my book! If you plan on traveling abroad, I highly suggest starting an account with them. They will save you so much money in the long run.

Unfortunately for you Chris, I have our detailed email exchange from day one including my requests…read morefor the contract during our early meetings up to the final email, at which time you stated "oh, I sent you a contract but you didn't receive it"; no contract was sent after that point. AFTER I fired you, you provided one and ONLY ONE bill for $2500 which I paid in full immediately (for nothing tangible). I included the phrase "I hope it was worth it", quite different than what you state. Therefore your statements regarding your contract is a bold faced lie and I can prove it. As far as your implication that you were not paid, yet another lie. I have the cancelled check. I have sent a full copy of our email exchange to the: 1. BBB - Poor review 2. NAPFA - working it's way through their ethics committee 3. SEC - Referred me to the Georgia State Department 4. Georgia State Department - Under Review 5. CFP Board - Under Review 6. FINRA - In-process To be clear, the money is not the point. Paying for non-service is not the point. Letting someone insult me, lie about me and also deceive other innocents (check your reviews) IS indeed the point. A Narreau always pays their debts.

We left fully confident on how to move forward and how all of our finances worked together. My only only complaint is that I wish we would have called Chris sooner!
