My parents live close by and had raved that the pizza was really quite good, so one night last week I said let's order pizza on-line from Casey's for dinner. Their on-line ordering system is straight forward to order a fresh hot pizza or even groceries. The list of grocery items is not extensive, but is OK for what a convenience store is. Their on-line ordering system was not without a few hiccups of occasionally freezing during the process, but in the end, I was able to place the order and set the time for pickup. You can either pay on-line in advance or at pick-up. Custom made with lots of options to choose from or ordering one of their suggested specials, there are plenty of pizza topping options. When I drove over to pick up our pizza and salad order, there were three people working behind the food counter and although not particularly chatty, they could not have been nicer. The girl who helped me indicated that she had tried to phone me to let me know in advance that a few things I requested on the salad were out. She wanted to make it right by me and was kind in letting me know, but I think I was so bowled over by her kindness, it did not even matter what they were out of. The store and food counter were clean, organized and welcoming. This is just a convenience store I realize, but I felt it was nicer than most. The gas pump area looked pretty clean too. The pizza had just come out of the oven, so I could easily see it was prepared fresh and was hot on our kitchen table by the time I got it home. The salad was nothing special, but it is a good single serving size and made with fresh ingredients. So for this end of Terre Haute, I am glad to know that this convenience store is located close to my folks in the event they need something and don't want to schlep to Walmart and deal with that racket.

This is the first Casey's I've been in. I would pass them by, and I always thought it was a discount store or something. But I should have known it was a gas station with a convenience store. Anyway, I got a coffee and hot chocolate here, as well as a donut. They also have a pizza restaurant in the store, but not a restaurant that you can sit in but one to get pizza to go. The restrooms are your typical small-town gas station restrooms.

Unfortunately had to run around and didn't find a restroom... humiliating. Being the closest restroom you should really let people use it. Thank you for that experience, quickly realizing why we have "Karen's" in the world. Technically I got gas so they do deserve 1 star I guess.

The store has separate entrances for cars and big trucks. The gas pump area is large and easy to maneuver. Outside, there are propane tanks, ice, fire wood and antifreeze. Inside, there is Casey's fast foods, including their pizza. I picked up a soda for 99 cents. The soda lids pop out one at a time, helping to keep them clean. The beverage area seemed better designed than most other convenience stores. The store is filled with snacks, lottery tickets and things you'd buy at a convenience store. The staff was plentiful and the check out clerk was friendly and efficient. The store was remarkably clean. I gotta say, it is petty dang nice.
