Service friendly and helpful. Ofer on gas prices. They have food available for a quick bite if you are hungry.

Very rude cashier, lip smacking and eye rolling. I just left it on the counter and walked out.

What can I say... it's Bucees! Stopped here on our road trip and anticipated this for some time so…read moreit was everything I was expecting We spent almost 2 hours on the store just shopping, looking at all the clothing, souvenirs and different food options We ended up getting to NC around 5 am, perfect for breakfast! We got the bacon egg and cheese burrito, hash browns, a cinnamon bun, iced coffee, some beaver nuts, jerky and other merch! They have a ton of food options, a candy and beef jerky wall, snacks, drinks... everything you could expect at a gas station and more! The bathrooms were clean Wish there was one in my state!

It opened back on May 16, 2022, and clocks in at 53,000 square feet -- genuinely massive for what's technically still a gas station, even though it's not the chain's biggest (that honor goes to their Luling, Texas store at over 75,000 square feet). The whole Buc-ee's thing goes back to 1982, started by Arch "Beaver" Aplin III and his partner Don Wasek out of Clute, Texas. Still privately owned all these decades later, no franchising, which says something about how consistent the experience is store to store. Aplin even picked up the McLane Leadership in Business Award from Texas A&M back in 2022 for building the thing into what it is. Food-wise, this place way overdelivers for a travel center. I timed my visit for breakfast, which is worth doing since it runs until around 10:30 -- got a breakfast taco with their brisket, and it did not disappoint. Smoky, tender, well seasoned, tucked into a fresh tortilla they're now pressing in-house at the location. If you're going bigger, the Beast Burrito is no joke -- it's basically built for one meal to cover you the rest of the day. Grabbed some of their jerky for the road too; they rotate through a solid lineup of flavors, so there's something for everyone. Beyond the food, it's just a fun stop. Clean, well-stocked, plenty of parking, and enough snack and gift options to keep you browsing longer than you planned. Whether you're road-tripping through or just curious what the hype is about, it's worth pulling off for.
