It is kind of a lemony and citrusy tasting (with a clean finish) beer which I really liked a lot! In addition to that I had their house made root beer which was excellent also! I decided then to get the Honey Cream Ale in a four pack can. This beer didn't taste great because it had an unfortunate metallic taste to it. But the idea is that there is honey and creamy characteristics to it. Too bad the taste of the can was a dominant flavor in this since I am sure it wasn't intentional. The taproom is nice, spacious and you can get a great view of the surrounding area. Definitely a place to get their drinks from the tap as they are certainly good but be aware of the cans and possibly metallic flavor.

There is also a beautiful vintage truck right when you walk in and you can even sit in the bed of it to eat! So clever. They have a back patio that overlooks the flats and the Highlands that's great to sit on in the summertime (or as long as humanly possible). My favorite salad in town is definitely the strawberry avocado and it is also very good with both the salmon and the chicken on top. The first thing I ever tried there were their fried pickle spears, something I had never seen before. Their breading had a nice seasoning to it and was light and flakey, they were great. It's possible that the best thing they have, though, is their brisket with their vast selection (4) of different barbecue sauces. I would definitely recommend stopping in whether you live here full time or are just passing through.
