In this overbearing smoking law state of IL he has provided an atmosphere that allows smoking indoors. -He has an amazing selection of cigars, and has always been reasonably friendly with me. I have yet to take advantage of the Hookah bar, so this is more on the cigar end of the business. -My most recent visit resulted in a pretty big spend but he did sell me a very high quality cigar case and humidor kit. Impulse buy, but I'm very happy with it Cons: -There have been a couple of times when I've looked a little sideways at this place. I've not always been convinced that the cigar inventory has been kept fresh to my personal expectations though I will admit I think Jack has gotten increasingly better at this over the years. I have gotten dry stuff before hence the rating, and I strongly suggest carefully inspecting before purchase. -There was a situation where I was nearly dealt a $50 OVERCHARGE. This did not seem to happen with a regular but when you mix up cigars and prices make sure you check the receipt -Price tags especially on the cigars are not always clearly marked (most are however), and it is a royal pain to sort through that stuff. For these reasons, I have submitted a formal complaint to the Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) so these practices can be investigated. If you are considering employment here, please be aware of the evident favoritism, retaliation, and absence of respect for those outside their inner circle. Significant changes are needed.
