Ordered flowers for a viewing/funeral on Friday and Saturday. I wanted something I had purchased along a basket I purchased to be made into an arrangement. Went in Friday at noon and asked if they could make the delivery before the viewing, the same day. Not a problem. Talked about what I liked and wanted for a special person/family. Cornelius had great suggestions I loved every one of them and used them along with a few more requests of my own. Delivery was $6.00 which was very reasonable. When I saw the floral arrangement, I was so pleased because it was exactly what I had envisioned. I have used Cornelius three times in the past year. They are extremely friendly, accommodating and reasonably priced. I am used to the 'grab a display and go' shops that charge twice what I wanted to spend act like your business is a nuisance. Cornelius has stayed late for me when work hours conflicted or offered arrangements already created for much less than the tag price. I usually tell them the occasion, preferred flower and price range and they whip up just what I had imagined. read more

I would never recommend this shop to anyone. I ordered a Valentine's arrangement from Cornelius Florist - Tomball for my mother. They delivered the flowers (which looked like they were just thrown together without any care) with a Happy Birthday balloon. I was embarrassed to have ordered from such a horrible place. When I called their shop and let them know that they had delivered a Happy Birthday balloon with the Valentine's flowers and that it was embarrassing, the woman just laughed and told me to tell her to keep it for give it to someone else. This is long overdue; however, sent with good intentions. My son attended the THS Prom on April 16, 2016. I went to another florist to order his date a wrist corsage. I picked it up on the 15th and when I got home, I realized that the ribbon on the corsage was light blue and not teal (the color of his date's dress) even though I had given a swatch to them to match up. I went back to the florist on Saturday morning and the store was closed. I drove to Cornelius' Shop and explained my situation. They had ribbon that matched the swatch. I thought that they would just swap out the ribbon and I'd be on my way. They made an entirely new wrist corsage which was much prettier than the original one and they didn't charge me a dime! Because my emails were not responded to, I called twice and was assured the order was being handled. The flowers were not delivered. I was given the owners phone number to discuss this as I was very upset. The owner, Stacy, sent my call to voicemail and never returned my call after I left a message. Same issues as another review posted already. Ordered online. Only to be told later that they could not deliver the day as paid for. The order was a little after noon and if I had known earlier I could have found another company. The reason stated when they called me at 3:20 pm that a delivery could not be made that day was because they would have to make a special trip just for that delivery. The person even asked the owner if they could make the delivery when I expressed that I would not have ordered it earlier had I known it was not going to be today and she said no. They then blamed it on their online ordering program. The owner had a chance personally to make things right but refused and didn't care. read more

Time and time again I have been impressed with this Florist and cannot say enough good things about the experiences we've had with them...the latest being Homecoming: my daughter's date ordered her wrist corsage from the nearby HEB, when he dropped it off at our house the morning of HOCO, it was horrible! They charged $20 and used fake light green leaves, dried-out baby's breath and it didn't even have a ribbon! Desperate, we took it to Cornelius and asked for help and they made a darling wrist corsage within a few hours for her, and DID NOT CHARGE ME FOR IT! WOW! What excellent customer service! The staff where very helpful and helped us pick flowers for the tables, the bouquets for bride and bridesmaid, boutonnieres and flowers for the wedding cake.
