What a cute little farm!!!…read more My husband and I wanted to take our 1 year old son to see some farm animals up close since we were in the area last Friday. We didn't have a lot of expectations given the reviews on here but we figured we check it out for our son. We were pleasantly surprised how much fun we had! When we walked in, we were greeted by the nice staff and volunteers who told us the $4 entrance fee goes towards donations to help feed, house, and care for all the animals. We also learned that they're rescue animals. They have a variety of farm animals to feed and pet including a donkey, ponies, sheep, goats, cows, and chickens. They offer a punch card when you purchase grains to feed the animals too. Our son had so much fun with the animals. He smiled and laughed in excitement which put a huge smile on our face. Keep in mind that the farm is small but they are working hard to expand for everyone of all ages. There's a cute little rollercoaster and pony carousel. They even have a small Wild West theme town for the kids to play on. We had a great time on the farm. Definitely recommend checking this place out. We will be sure to come back again.

We came for a visit and got to let baby cows, rabbits, and check out the alpacas and pigs. We also let the kids go for pony rides around Gardner village. We had a great time and will be back. I just really wish the staff wore masks. Nobody but us was masked, even the handlers taking the kids on the horses.

I stumbled across Utah Valley Llamas by accident on a Utah tourist website. I am so glad I did!!!!…read moreLet me tell you everything you need to now about Utah Valley Llamas: The farm is located on the grounds of the Sri Sri Radha Krishna Hindu temple. As we were waiting for our tour of the llama farm to start, we got a free tour of the temple. It was cool to learn basics of the Hindu religion, and it gave us base information for some of the animals we were about to see on the farm tour! Vai, referred to as the "llama mama," was awesome! She is an older lady who is very blunt but full of love for her religion and her animals. I am not Hindu, but it was very refreshing to see someone care so much about religion. Vai showed us her fancy birds, fish, llamas, and sacred cows. She was full of knowledge and allowed us to take a hands-on approach to learning about the animals. She even cracked a joke: When I read that mama llamas hum to their babies, she said, "Do you know why they hum?" ..... "Because they don't know the words." It was so funny, and she delivered it perfectly, with a straight face. I'll admit, I was very scared to get close to the llamas. They're pretty big, and they come really close to you when they know you have food. They were all so gentle and calm, though, and they didn't spit at all! Vai told us that they only spit on other llamas or when they feel threatened. Feeding the llamas out of my hands was terrifying, but it became less scary as time went on. Llamas only have bottom teeth, so their top lips rubbed against my hands as I fed them. We forgot to bring sliced apples and baby carrots, so make sure you do that! After the llamas, Vai showed us the sacred cows. They are tiny and cute. We got to feed them, too, and they were much grosser than the llamas when they ate. Their tongues were huge, and they made your hands disgusting after. It was gross, but TOTALLY worth the experience! I just washed my hands after. (: We had such a cool, unique experience at Utah Valley Llama. It was amazing to be so close to all the llamas and learn about them, and it was awesome to learn more about the Hindu religion in relation to their animals and eating habits. If you're in Utah, definitely take a tour of the llama farm! It will not disappoint!

We make the drive to Tooele and the girl in the trailer said they didn't have the variety either. So upsetting to drive for nothing. So we go back to the salt lake location on long drive home and settled for another variety. Fast forward 2 months and the one we settle for is a rooster. Tnx Chase hatchery, you suck.

Let's start with the highlight: I ordered Easter Eggers and received a 100% rooster starter pack. Not "a few slipped through." Not "sexing error margin." No, a full boy band. Impressive, honestly. What followed was weeks of back-and-forth where they confidently insisted these very obvious roosters were, in fact, not roosters. At one point I felt like I was being gaslit... By chickens. Pro tip for future customers: apparently the fastest way to resolution is to threaten to return said roosters to their property. Suddenly, a refund appears! (Well... kind of.) Because of course, the "refund" was store credit only, which is a bold strategy when your core issue is trust in the product. So I used the credit (against my better judgment), placed another order, and... plot twist: the day before pickup, they inform me they don't actually have enough chickens. At that point, I requested a proper refund. And in true Chase Hatcheries fashion, they deducted the original credit from the refund. Full circle. No chickens, partial money, maximum confusion. Also worth noting: the staff were described as "high schoolers," which would be fine, except these kids looked about 10 and it was a Saturday. Not saying anything definitive, just... raising an eyebrow. May report to the state. Final verdict: If you're looking for chickens, I recommend literally anywhere else. If you're looking for a chaotic, poultry-themed life lesson in customer service failure, this place delivers. 0/10. Would not recommend.

Upon arriving, we had a rough start finding the entrance and where to go for parking. The signs are really hard to see at night. And me, with my night time astigmatism, even harder. Lol! Either that or my husband and I are just blind. BUT we found it. Just before the house, there are signs wrapped in Christmas lights and it takes you to the parking area. I was feeling a little bummed out and thought, "ugh this is already a bad review from me." I held on and kept the Christmas spirit (for my son and nephew of course lol). HOW was I going to let my blindness (not being able to see the parking entrance) ruin my experience?! I'm SOOOO GLAD I didn't throw a fit and kept going with the flow. Because BOY!! I tell you, the PERFECT SPOT for me and my little family. I don't like big crowds and crowded areas. This place was perfect. Although, I did wish there were more people because this place is WORTH the visit and trip. It was such a warm and welcoming spot! Definitely a cozy place. I loved that they had a bunch of spots for photo ops and family Christmas pictures! What a smart idea! If you're a photographer looking for a spot for clients, I recommend here. It's cheap to enter, but the photo props are awesome. The difference in the entrance fee if you buy a tree is A GREAT deal!!! The have rope for those traveling in cars (to tie down), they can clip the bottom with a fresh cut and drill a hole. They have a Teepee with a fire pit and smores sticks. Grab your s'mores kit and hangout. The Christmas music playing throughout, just makes it so much cozier. The slides and animals were my son's favorite. The trolley and movie was mine. ;) enjoy a ride while watching a Christmas show?! Of course!! They provided blankets on the trolley as well. Ahh! I can't describe this place enough. You'll have to go and check it out yourselves. Great for families, couples, singles, extended families, and even your fur babies! We decided to set this place for our family tradition tree shopping spot. Love it!!
