I worked with one of their lawyers who did an outstanding job. Liss Law walked me through the entire process and ensured I completed all my required seminars to comply with Bankruptcy rules and guidelines. They filed all the paperwork for me which was very helpful because the process itself looks very overwhelming. During the bankruptcy proceedings I had a debtor who challenged the bankruptcy proceedings that their debt was non-dis-chargeable under bankruptcy law. It took over 2 years of back and forth with the debtors lawyer but in the end they caved and their entire settlement was discharged. Liss Law goes above and beyond to help you throughout the bankruptcy process and their dedication to knowing the laws, as they change, and their determination to get you out of debt is stellar and nothing less than what you would expect from a reputable law firm. Thank you Liss Law and my lawyer for all your help. I can now start fresh.

Attorney Stasio initially told me that my question was not stictly a legal one but then went on to provide practical, thoughtful information about the process. He listened carefully, asked excellent questions, and came up with helpful responses. This is all without my even formally hiring him (since small claims does not use lawyers). He was responsive simply because he recognized that the outcome could be helpful to me and to others. If I did have a case that required representation, I would hire him in a minute.

During the meeting, I was asked questions such as whether I knew where my boss graduated from (yes, I do know - Harvard), and when I described my experience, the term "gaslighting" was met with visible skepticism rather than explored in a meaningful way. I ultimately sought a second opinion with another attorney, which resulted in a $180,000 settlement. Based on my experience, I would encourage others to seek multiple perspectives before making decisions about representation.
