This spot is a pretty typical small-town liquor store, but we were disappointed with the local selection. We only saw a few bottles of one local wine, and some Quaff ON! beer, but that was it. We were hoping for a larger selection, but they didn't have much beyond the standard fare. Prices will run you a bit higher than at a larger liquor store, but that's expected given that this is a smaller town and this is the only liquor store we saw in the area. So, if you're in the need for a liquor/beer run, it may be this or a gas station, unless you want to stop by an actual winery, brewery, or distillery in the area. We did end up purchasing a koozie though, because B loves them and we liked the cutesy name of this spot.

We had to do some paperwork at Edward Jones and had heard about the donuts next door. We have driven by this place at least 100 times visiting my husband's family, we simply had to check it out this time. Walked in and we were warmly greated. When we said we were first timers, the sweet woman that was chatting with us said we should have come earlier we were there around 10am and most of the invenotry was gone! She recommendes the sour cream cake donut and WOW! I was glad we listened, so good. We also tried the maple custard. I love custard, but not much for maple flavor but my husband gave it two thumbs up. We will be back and much earlier next time! We heard they are also adding a coffee bar soon.
