Without insurance we called around for a fair priced one and this one fit the bill and is not to far from my home. When i started i could barely bend my knee and was having a hard time getting around after my femur break. Exercises at first were kind of hard to do and was kind of sore at night time. I can see why some would get discouraged and not believe in PT. But after a couple of visits I started to see some progress, it was awesome! Went in with crutches and my leg was stiff in the car, after my last visit I was driving myself and had a cane just incase i needed it after my exercises. 3 months later and I was walking with no cane and back at work lifting all types of stuff when needed. Awesome & friendly staff, hope to never have to use their services again but wouldn't hesitate if needed.

With gentle stretches, core-strengthening exercises and some hands-on work with the team, I am doing about 1000X better! It wasn't overnight, but the progress was faster than I had hoped. The appointments were easy to schedule, and everyone in the office is friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend this group to anyone needing some rehab for an injury or, like me, excessive wear and tear. Dr. Andi is a pro. Thanks!

I absolutely loved my experience at the Physical Rehabilitation Institute, and that's saying a lot…read morebecause I think physical therapists are modern day torture agents. Dr. Molina has a bedside manner that should be taught in every medical school in the US. He assessed my knee injury without any medical records or films (thanks Army medicine) and told me, in detail and in a way I could understand it, what he believed the issue was. The next visit, I brought in the results of both my CT scans, X-rays, and MRI, and he was 100% correct with his diagnosis. Everything he said was wrong was proven on the studies. The office staff are personal, with just the right amount of conversation and instructions on what exercises I needed to do, what they were designed for, and how to do them properly at home without the equipment. My rating was increased by 1/2 star from 4 1/2 because the only "negative" and I use that word very loosely, was that they play Christian music and have Bibles out throughout the office. If you're not a religious person or a Christian, that may make you feel out of place or uncomfortable. I believe it's their prerogative to play whatever they feel in their private facility, but it did stand out to me as I considered how people of other faiths would feel. The care you receive at this facility outweighs that, but I'm also not an extremely devout religious person.

This was literally the worst medical experience I have ever had. I came in with a running injury…read moreand I was told to stop all lower body workouts, to stop running during the treatment, and to consider retiring from running entirely (I am not even 30 and have never had an injury before this). Dr. Bussey never even asked to see my running form! I would always have to wait at least 20 minutes minimum (up to 45 minutes once) to see him. He never made adjustments to my treatment plan and when I told him of new pain, he would dismiss it, blaming it on my lifestyle choices without asking about them (though I did the same lifestyle choices with no pain prior to the injury). Due to not working out my lower body, I actually got worse by the end of my time with him. He had an attitude that gave me the impression he was disinterested and burnt out and every time I would tell him about my new pains, he would dismiss them, so I never returned. I went to them a few months after my time with Dr Bussey where I couldn't even tolerate sitting for more than 45 minutes (at its worse, I couldn't even last 10 minutes - like I said, I got WORSE under Dr. Bussey's care). It turns out I was a "complex case," but Dr. Oliva and Dr. Papke who were both assigned to my case took the time to sit, listen, constantly reassess, and explain what was going on. I have predominantly worked with Dr. Papke, and I am so grateful for how kind, validating, and competent he is. I no longer have daily pains & am slowly upping my running volume, which I have been trying to do since my injury in November!

At times it looks like they need more staff to keep up the amount of clients they have, but they some how make it through. The experienced staff take the time to properly train their newer staff on how to do exercises and the reasoning behind it. they also make sure there is empathy and kindness behind their guidance too. Also, big shout out to Valerie for being a wonderful receptionist. Keep up the great work all of you, but of course within your mental limits. ^_^ Dr. Ely Ann Gonzalez is amazing! She's quirky, fun, super knowledgeable, empathetic, and overall helpful. I wish more doctors existed like her in the medical field. She may look young but her brain is wise. Dr. Gonzalez wants the best for you and really takes concern of your well-being. She is a breath of fresh air. My experience here was beautifully warming. I'm a shy person that doesn't do well in loud, busy environments, but here I started to feel a homey and accepted. If I ever need to attend physical therapy again, I know where I will be headed. -C. She was right. For the first time in years and years, my lymphedema is fully under control. Kate is extremely knowledgeable, thoughtful and considerate, but what really sets her apart is that she doesn't just follow a standard routine. She figured out exactly what I needed and was creative in finding solutions that have helped me in more ways than I ever expected. For a while, the construction on 1604 made getting there a little difficult, but thankfully that's over. Frankly, it wouldn't have mattered to me--I would go just about anywhere to see Kate. After more than 20 years of dealing with lymphedema, I never expected to have it this well controlled. I'm incredibly grateful my doctor recommended Kate, and I can't recommend her highly enough.

That was three years ago and now I can't say enough great and wonderful things about Kate, my therapist, and Alante. Three years ago Kate educated me on what I was up against and then educated me on what I could do about it. She took the time to explain equipment, diet, attitude, and consistency would go a long way toward slowing the progression of my disease, as it is not curable. Kate was always available to me and answered my email questions and continued to be my cheerleader. Which brings us to this review. I went in yesterday for my three year evaluation...no noticeable progression!!!! I even lost some circumference in my leg. I can honestly say that Kate's excitement for me was at the same level of excitement I had. Professionalism, education, and compassion is what you will find at Alante and especially with Kate.

Well, I'm going to be honest: usually, I'm not one to write reviews. However, after five weeks (and…read morecounting) of superb, compassionate care, I simply must let the inter-web know about Christian and the folks at Foundation Physical Therapy! Long story short, I viciously fractured my left femur while saving orphan children and various at-risk youth from a burning building in June 2014. After surgeons successfully placed a titanium rod through the injured bone, I was referred to Mr. Compean and Foundation Physical Therapy. Having broken the strongest and "most difficult bone to break" in the human body, my expectations were bleak and unpromising to say the least. My experience began with Tracy, the office manager, on my first day. With the phones incessantly ringing and patients waiting to be checked-in, she stopped what she was doing and happily rushed to the door to help me as I pitifully crutched in. Instantly, I knew I was in the right place. Christian, co-owner and Physical Therapist extraordinaire, is the best thing to happen to my leg since the calf-machine at the gym in eighth grade - he is PHENOMENAL. He actually takes the time to get to know you and genuinely wants you to get better! Unsurprisingly, it reflects in his care. After just four weeks, I went from stepping like a newborn fawn on wintry ice to walking almost 100% pain-free! What caught me off-guard was with what ease and accuracy Christian was able to diagnose the origin of individual nagging pains I experienced in my recovery and how well he educated me on how to prevent them from happening again. The provider is extremely "textbook smart" and has great hands, my friends! I have no doubt that when I'm completely finished with my treatment with Christian, I'll actually be stronger and faster than I was pre-injury. If you're looking for a place that exemplifies thorough and complete care, while at the same time makes you feel like actual family as opposed to "just another insurance reimbursement check," I absolutely recommend you visit Tracy, Christian and the gang at Foundation Physical Therapy!

On a Thursday evening, I made an appointment for Friday morning through their website. It was really pretty easy! However, I grew concerned I hadn't had any X-rays prior to making my appointment. In any case, I called, they said no problem! Be warned, a canceled appointment less than 24 hours in advance will cost you $75. The day of my appointment, I went in and was surprised to find how hard it was to find a place to park. The parking lot is huge. I went in probably two minutes late. The wait to be seen was about 30 minutes, possibly more. Then there was the wait in the room, not too horribly lengthy. I was shuffled off to x-rays, which was quick and efficient. I figured there would be a wait for the results. My doctor, Dr. Gates, came in and introduced himself, apologized about the wait, and tried to get to know me. He was very pleasant but spoke a little fast. I'm sure it was because he's probably done this a few times. I was given my options, decided on a game plan and was on my way. Overall, everyone was super nice. I will say if you're not familiar with orthopedic doctors, it's not one size fits all. Although I have other issues, I will have to see doctors that that specialize in other joints. I feel really good about this visit, I am looking forward to following the recommendations and getting better. Fingers crossed!
