Refused to pay for damages, blocked me from there Instagram business account, and does not deliver what is promised. 1- She is not prepared when she was making the balloons. I left the house to go pick up some additional items for my party she asked my friend if she had any white balloons inside the house because she ran out of balloons. Can you believe that!? What kind of business asks the home owner for additional balloons because they ran out? (She did this after I paid her of coarse). At that point as a business you should be responsible and go buy more if you need to. She did charge $500 for this just FYI 2- my biggest concern.... When she was nearly done I mentioned the balloon garland didn't look full as we discussed when making reservation. She stated she was going to add more and she was adding a spray to prevent the balloons from popping. Long story short, as the day went on the balloons popped due to the sun.... Apparently the "spray" which according to her was natural and non chemical... splashed on my wood deck. Little did I know this "spray" was in fact and oil spray (Not a great combination). When the party was over and she left, I noticed spots all over deck (please see images attached). You'll see on the text messages she doesn't take responsibility and says it's 'weird, because the product she used is non chemical/natural'. I had to ask her multiple times to show me the product she used because I needed to know how to take off the stains from my new wood deck. She finally sends me the photo (see image below) and I had to educate her on the ingredients on the product she used had. Because according to her I was lying and she didn't use oils. After I showed her the product she used main ingredient was SILICONE aka Colorless OILS she no longer replied. She didn't apologize, she didn't say what I can do to remove the stains, she didn't offer to send someone to look at it, she didn't offer any compensation....... She did absolutely nothing except not respond and block me from social media. What kind of business is this person running? 3- I honestly don't think they post there real work. Because the balloon images I saw and was quoted on was not the work that was delivered to me. It can be that she rents the jumpers but that is not her balloon work. Which explains why I didn't get what I paid for. I am writing all of this because I hope this doesn't happen to you. Sometimes we as people want to help the small business that are starting to help them. But Unfortunately, she has ruined it for me. My lesson learned is not to hire people with no insurance, not to hire so called 'business' that have NOT been around for several years, not to hire people I don't know anyone has worked with. At this point a report was filed, as this is not a legitimate business and just pockets cash. They do not accept anything other than cash, zelle or Venmo again don't do it. God forbid someone fell and broke something and they'd not take responsibility for that either. They sell insurances for 'businesses' for a reason but this is NOT a real or registered business.
