I highly recommend Dr. Kelly, especially since you can't always feel 100% comfortable with chiropractors, but this guy is good and trustworthy!

Happy Patients in Waiting Room! I wholeheartedly disagree with the review before mine by "Sarah". First of all, it is not a "clicker". It is called an "activator" for a reason. It is a much gentler approach to helping your body correct itself through muscle memory. If the waiting room is full that should tell you that the doctor is in high demand for a reason. Finally, no one waits an hour. At most 20 minutes at busy times, and the time goes by quickly because Dr. Steve's patients are friendly/familiar with one another so waiting a few minutes is no big deal. Dr. Steve teaches proper stretching and carefully examines our alignment with mild movements and our bodies align on their own. After breaking my back in an accident a few years ago, Dr. Steve keeps me pain free! Your Loss Sarah!

Before the actual adjustment patients will use either the traction table, physical therapy stretches, or electro-stim TENS machine to bring information to the pain area and allow for relaxation of the muscles before the adjustment of the bones. Dr. Nicolai checks on you during the warm up and will change the settings for comfort. My pain problem involves needing my neck cracked and that takes a lot of trust. Dr. Nicolai is very gentle and never forces anything. Sometimes he has to play the kid photographer and says things like "think about your right knee" just as he cracks my neck which is really helpful in relaxing for me. I've always left his office leaving better than when I arrived and happily recommend him to friends and the community at large for muso-skeletal pain management.

I came in for lower back pain which I am very familiar with. I've been seeing a chiropractor on and off for 10years. He gave me so much attention and took his time between each adjustment which I have never experienced and it was truly life changing when you have back pain and you have been to many people. I've only been once but look forward to going back. My adjustment was exactly what I needed. He gave me an apple at the end and it was such a nice reminder to take care of myself. He wasn't pushy about my next visit and made me feel like I also knew what was best for my body. Often times Dr.'s make you feel as if they only know what's best. I loved the vibe of this office and look forward to much more healing there.

I'm from SoCal, and living in NY is the hardest during winter and when I'm missing the wellness community California is known for. Finding Dr. C makes me feel back home. My work can take a toll physically so I come bi-monthly. Dr. Colandrea loosens the muscle area before adjusting, so I leave feeling like I just got both a massage and an adjustment. He also has helped me know how to make the most impact in my workouts as I'm trying to be a Pilates princess in the front and gym baddie in the back but have hip pains and a tough work schedule. He also takes some insurances (mine for sure). His office is spotless, as is the physical therapy office his room in located in. I've seen him sanitize before and after each patient, and any time I've come in with a mask even as a caution to my own exposure, he's quick to put on his own mask. I really appreciate his care for health, especially since he works in healthcare. As long as I'm in this area, I'll be coming here.

I WAS WRONG. I finally reached a point in my pregnancy where my legs would shake in pain just from standing too long. My baby was still breech at 34 weeks, which did not happen in my first pregnancy, and at my 36 week ultrasound they confirmed he was finally head down - only thing to change was seeing Dr Christian. I finally started being able to go on walks again & keeping up (sort of! Lol) with my toddler. I can't even explain how much better I feel. I cannot wait to keep going after having the baby to see how good I can feel. Dr Christian is so incredibly knowledgeable and also so kind and welcoming. The environment is absolutely wonderful and I truly look forward to these appointments, not only because of how I feel after but after my very first visit he remembered personal details like my daughters name, my sons name to be, etc.. you're not just a number here! The first red flag was being brought into a separate room as a new patient, handed laminated pseudo-science data sheets, and given a sales pitch about how chiropractic care can apparently solve every ailment in the known universe. I kindly explained that I was just there for a standard back adjustment due to soreness from spending nearly 20 hours on a plane. The sales guy immediately launched into a speech about "treating the root cause, not the symptom." "But in my case, I already know the root cause, don't I?" A quick and dismissive: "Right, but we still need to run you through a series of tests to confirm." Then he referred to a "spine gun" they would use on my back. I asked what kind of technology this mythical device used because I did not want any x-rays. His response: "Oh, we will do an x-ray today." "No, I'm not injured and I won't be getting an x-ray." "Then you can't be treated here." That ended the visit for me, and honestly, hearing multiple patients screaming in pain and loudly cursing during their adjustments while I was sitting in the office did not exactly inspire confidence either. I've been to many chiropractors over the years, but this is the first time I've ever felt like I was at a car dealership instead of a medical office.
