Their lack of communication is alarming, as is their habit of not paying for purchased material (i.e. stealing). Fun fact: Louis Lovejoy also owned another fire sprinkler company (Sapphire Sprinkler) that refused to pay for material as well. It seems to be a theme with him. He'll start a company, purchase materials, then stop paying the invoices. He'll then just close up shop, start a new company, and repeat the process. Enter into a business relationship with Freedom Fire Protection at your own risk. You will eventually get burned as I, and many others, already have.

We…read morewere able to schedule an appointment within about a week and a half, and every correspondence I had with them was professional and friendly, including the confirmation call the night before. They gave me a 1-hour window, which seems rather rare these days, and they arrived well within the window. The guys were courteous and professional and found that our vent needed significant cleaning (which explains why our brand new dryer was taking so long to dry!). They did a great job and now our dryer dries like a champ.

Unfortunately, when you own a business you get good and sometimes bad reviews. The owner was so mad at the review, and that my husband voiced his frustration on his personal social media, she contacted his employer through facebook. She harassed his employer continuously to let her know her feelings about my husband's character and that she wouldn't support her business because of his involvement. She was literally trying to get him fired for bad reviews. I owned a business for 10 years. I got a couple bad reviews along the way about employees work and had requests for refunds. I did so willingly because the customer satisfaction outweighed my ego. I would NEVER call a clients employer after they left a bad review to voice my personal opinion of them. It's absolutely insane that the owner took this route instead of just refunding the money. The owner did offer to have someone else come to do the work but our trust in the company had been diminished. We wanted a second opinion and got one. That's also the prerogative of the customer.
