It was definitely another time when Minks were so popular especially of that generation! My mom wore them during special occasions during the cold season and I remember it well as a boy! A friend of mine inspired me to make something out of it as he had upcycled a leather coat into pillows! So I brought them to a renowned Atelier boutique in Montreal called Harricana, who specializes in "UpCycling furs!" After 4 months they finally finished! 2 very different coats... Fast forward 6 months later--I suddenly receive a bill from FedEx for an additional $50 US in customs fees. This was never communicated at the time of purchase. Being charged unexpected fees half a year later is completely unacceptable. If M0851 is selling to U.S. customers, they should either: * Ship from within the U.S., or * Clearly warn customers about potential customs/duties before checkout Transparency is the bare minimum for an international brand. A defective item after one use should be replaced or refunded, and at the very least, return shipping should be covered.
