I brought in a leather bag recently to see if they could repair a small rip. Instead of attempting to fix it, they simply told me that it would be better if I didn't repair it as it would cause more damage. Usually, you would expect them to repair it, and regardless of the final results, they will still find a way to make money off of you. This honesty thing is important these days. I would feel at ease to bring other items for them to repair.

My sandals didn't need extensive repairing, the leather strap had just separated and I didn't trust myself in glueing it back together. They did this job flawlessly and in a timely manner. He asked me if I was okay with walking around the mall and coming back in an hour. Recommend for your shoe repairs and other leather goods. I am a happy customer!

When I went back in on the day I was told to, which happened to be pouring rain too, I found that they hadn't even begun working on my shoes at all and they were not ready!! I was obviously upset, and had to ask if there would be some sort of discount or something for the incredible inconvenience, and I was told no, and ultimately given my shoes back. They would have rather me leave completely unsatisfied with their service than to demonstrate their apologies for such a big inconvenience to a customer. I am honestly very surprised this place gets by with such lazy and unorganized workers. I had high hopes but have been immensely disappointed unfortunately. I didn't want to throw them away so I thought that'd be a good way to encourage local businesses and keep this pair a bit longer. The guy was trying to upsell me which is Okay to me if that's worth it. He said the glue wouldn't be enough and he'd rather sew the sole after gluing it because it'll be stronger and look nice. Total was $30, $20 for the glue and $10 for sewing the soles... Problem is result is kind of crappy, doesn't look like quality work and I had to wash the glue he left all over my shoes...(see pic) Next time I'll skip the local business encouragement and by a new pair!
