By his own admission it was a challenge because the soles were beyond worn. In this disposable age of throwing away stuff that is old, it's nice to know that there are still skilled craftspeople who can repair -- rather than replace -- the possessions we have. If you have any shoe or leather repair needs, *this* is the place to go. If may feel as though you're paying a lot, but if you think about it the cost of fixing a good pair of quality shoes is less than half that of buying new. I am now their client for life and I often need shoe repairs, so that guy at Complexe Desjardins lost a good client. Don't waste your time with Cordonnerie MTL/Desjardins and don't put yourself through the needless frustration!
