I had the Vinland winery wine slushy which was excellent. I had the Sugar Mans smores cookie - amazing! I tried tacos- the best-. The market is family friendly, pet friendly, ability friendly, and most of all, free. It was wonderful to be outside, albeit the heat was intense at 90 degrees! This was an excellent experience and a wonderful way to spend the day.

Several streets are blocked off to vehicular traffic, and there are dozens and dozens of vendors selling everything from produce to kombucha to baked goods to handmade clothing. This has to be the biggest and most well-curated farmers market that I've been to in Indiana. There is also a huge area with food trucks selling all types of food. I got a shredded chicken sandwich (what they call a "jammich") at a sandwich food truck called JAMM. There were lots of other options, including Jamaican food, barbecue, a food truck dedicated to mac and cheese in different permutations, food trucks selling mimosas and local beer and hard cider, and lots more. Also, you can walk around the farmers market with your alcoholic beverage! I got the best slice of strawberry cake and oatmeal chocolate chip cookie from a vendor selling baked goods. I wish I knew their name! You can't miss them, though -- there's a big CAKE sign in their booth, and they display the biggest and most tasty-looking cookies you've ever seen. In the winter months, the YLNI farmers market is held indoors at the Aunt Millie's plant at the corner of Pearl and Ewing streets.

A couple of my favorites were the cold brew coffee from Pershaw Coffee, the salt scrub at Heaven's Rim, Lucky Lemon's pumpkin whoopie pie, Etta's Harvest macaroons, Simple Dimension's artwork, and Nektar Flow Farms Paw Paw ice cream and fresh paw paws! All of these vendors were so nice and the vibe was fun, light-hearted and casual. Sometimes Farmers Markets feel a little crazy, but this was relaxing and informative. Only one more week before they transition to the Fall market and then the indoor winter market.

I wish there were more vegetable/fruit stalls, however. There's only like 3 total while there are about a billion jewelry makers and bakeries. My ears aren't pierced anymore so I had to walk past all the earring sellers. We ended up buying some tomato plants, bagels, a delicious strawberry shortcake cookie to share from Rocky Rhodes bakery, two tasty mac and cheeses from Baby Got S'mac, and some pretty artwork of local Fort Wayne landmarks.

It was located inside Parkview Field, the home of the Fort Wayne TinCaps baseball team. I like this farmers market a lot! It isn't huge, but the vendors are all great and there is a lot of variety. I got a root beer candle from Modest Wick, and some maple syrup from Metzger Brothers Farms, and honey sticks from Bee Great Local. There was also lots of fresh produce for sale, many kinds of baked goods that I managed to avoid through sheer will, and crafts made by local vendors. Also, I had the best cafe Cubano of my life from Laz's Cuban Cafe food truck, which was parked outside of the farmers market. I don't know if Laz's is always here, but if you see them and you like great coffee, get a cafe Cubano! You won't regret it. Many of the vendors at this farmers market accept credit cards, but some only accept cash or check. Metzger Brothers Farms was one of the vendors that I had to write a check to because I didn't have cash and they didn't have a credit card reader. So to be safe, you might want to bring cash to this farmers market.

Also on Tuesdays, the bakery makes brick oven pizza that you need to try!

Located in the heart of downtown Lafayette, you'll find dozens of vendors selling everything from plants and fresh baked croissants to candles and produce. It's a great mix of vendors with plenty of produce for those looking to prepare for the week ahead. They also often have live music to set the mood and if I remember correctly, the market is dog-friendly. Given the great location, you can also explore all of the adjacent shops and restaurants while you are there. We're especially a fan of the Revolution Bakery.

The outside in my honest opinion does not give a welcoming, farmers market vibe. It reminds me of old sheds or long warehouses that have been converted, albeit that is most likely what it was. However there is not really a specific entrance that I found, just multiple doorways that may or may not be marked as entrance doors. Inside, we found the market to be basically a very large rectangular loop of vendors booths. There is lots and lots of crafts to look at. The produce appeared to be on the higher side so we passed on buying. There was a wonderful lavender vendor with very high grade essential oils at very good prices that we did purchase. There is wonderful English Tea and food items which were splendid. ( might be a reason I return). Additionally there was a Hungarian bakery vendor that had wonderful items to taste, they were very traditional and delicious. We noticed a small cafe or diner but did not stop, it looked dated but had customers enjoying their orders. If I had to give any feedback as a consumer to the owners, it would be to invest in better parking, signage and updating of your building. The vendors that were present ( empty booths were noted) seem to love their businesses and would benefit from the updates!
