I've used corbett irrigation for many years and their service was fine. Last year we did a major landscape project and had a new system put in. I coordinated with Corbett throughout to make sure the equipment was stuff they recommend and service. I even had them come to shut down the system last year to make sure this year went okay during start-up. The new tech arrived this year and was surprised I had a new system (apparently their records were not updated). He had to call a supervisor and the supervisor came and told me the wiring was done incorrectly, so he could not start it that day. It took over one month to get someone back to the house. I found out that the electrical "problem" was that there were two ground wires of different colors (not an issue for anyone who knows wiring) and that one zone had two wires hooked up to run simultaneously (again nothing really to worry about). Aside from that, I asked three times if I needed to do anything prior the the technician arriving, but was not nothing needed to be done. Upon arrival the technician started to say that the well water pump needed to be checked by a professional before he could work (I mentioned that I should have been told that previously). He said that he could not explain it to the receptionist to pass along a message to me, so we wasted our time once again. Bottomline: they seem to do well when things are easy and straightforward: I would not count on them if a problem comes up. I just don't think it is in their DNA. read more
