Not mushy cooked salsa, it is thin with pieces of onion, cilantro, etc.... We loved the flavor, but there's definitely plenty of onion. Husband ordered a frozen margarita which he said was "limey and lush" with the perfect amount of salt. On our Deluxe Carne Asada and Carnitas plates, the meat was the star of the show. Beans, tortillas, rice, guac, cheese enchilada, and pico were all good, but the pork and beef were excellent. The marinade used on the carnitas left bright citrus hues. The asada was tender. The sopapilla was the most buttery tasting sopapilla I've ever had. The custom tables and chairs reflect the pride taken in having a nice space. The mural on the dining room wall is a lovely, bright focal point.

They were all very tender and crispy on the outside. We also ordered a street taco dinner plate, which came with three tacos with proteins of our choice. We decided to go for a combination of beef, chicken, and pork. They were all delicious, but we liked the pork the most. It was moist and tender. We concluded the meal with some puffy sopaipillas. They were really good too! Our waiter was friendly and helpful, and very knowledgeable about the items on the menu. We enjoyed both the food and the service, and the lively vibe as well. We'll definitely come back. But next time we'll try to get there a little earlier to avoid the long wait.

We were very pleasantly surprised. It's even better in my opinion. The people are very warm and friendly. The food is really delicious. I love that they bring not only good salsa with their fresh hot chips, but also a tomatillo sauce and a black bean dip. We've now eaten there several times. The taco meat has a nicely charred flavor. The tamales were very good. (I'm picky about my tamales. I've tried their ranchero sauce, chili con carne, and sour cream sauce. None of them disappoint. Their rice isn't dry like it is at many other Tex-Mex places. And their $5.00 all day frozen margaritas are worth it. We usually go for the lunch specials that run until 4:00. They don't have mole on the menu, yet. I'm looking forward to their future specials. In this day and age where it's hard to keep a restaurant open, I really hope this one survives. Despite no reservations we were seated in under 15m I just love when restaurants stay consistent across their service and food quality.
