You guy some photos with the pony, 4 rides around the pen. Also a tour of the petting zoom with chickens, turkey, pigs, ducks, tortoise, alpacas, and more. Cheyenne is the tour guide and she is great with kids. We were also able to bring in our own pizza which is nice. Or get it delivered. there was a place to setup for the party covered with some shade. Bring some athletic shoes. you will be on sand, dirt etc. And be sure to use your GPS or you will miss it.

To know especially that these are rescued animals and are being taken care of so carefully, giving us the privilege of being able to give them our love as well, it was a heartwarming experience. Plenty of free parking available right infront of the sanctuary. There is a cute little shop attached to the sanctuary, where you can buy their handmade truffle chocolates which are so delicious (coming from someone who isn't a fan of truffle chocolates), fresh farm eggs, honey, and other delicacies. With your zoo "ticket" you get 2 free samples of their chocolates and a hefty bag of feed for the animals. The animals are mostly in their own pens, with some together. There's even a couple of the pigs you'll find out of pens, just hanging out on the property, laying beside the building. You're able to go into the tortoise pen and feed/pet him as well, 2 people at a time inside the pen, as he does get anxious. You're not able to feed all of the animals, but for the most part you can. Each pen has a sign for which animals are ok to feed/pet and which are not. They are very calm and friendly, as long as you are too. They take the feed very gently and don't bite your fingers. On the weekends they offer pizza made fresh for the visitors, and have plenty of covered outdoor seating options to enjoy. They also offer wine tasting, but we did not partake, as we had just left a winery, but I'm sure it is quite enjoyable as well. Definitely a must stop if you're in the area and it's a 5 minute drive from the wineries!

We got there around 6:30 just before sunset and there was a good amount of people and families, but it never felt too overwhelming. Parking was pretty efficient. We did notice another lot closer to the pumpkin patch, but the walk from where we parked was only about five minutes so it really wasn't bad. I loved the decorations and overall layout of the farm. Admission into the pumpkin farm is $4 Friday through Sunday and $2 Monday through Thursday, which I thought was pretty reasonable. There was a lot going on around the property with different activities, food, drinks, and even live music. I tried their Killer Marg and it was soooo delicious. It had a really fresh citrusy flavor where you could actually taste the fruit. I do wish there were a few more dedicated photo ops throughout the pumpkin patch because I think that would add even more to the experience, especially around sunset. Besides that, there was plenty to walk around and see. Coming right before sunset was also such a good choice because the farm looked so pretty as the sun was going down. This is a wild life refuge and a great educational experience for anyone who takes the time to visit. The staff have a lot to share. Your admission cost goes toward the care and feeding of these wonderful creatures which would otherwise have perished in the wild. There are Reptiles, Coyotes, Bears, Bobcats, Raccoons, Bald Eagles, Turkey Vultures, and a magnificent Golden Eagle in their care. These magnificent animals can be observed up close where they can be appreciated. Keep in mind that the price of admission is not for profit but instead goes towards operational costs of care and feeding of these amazing creatures. Make reservations because space is limited and the staff is dedicated to provide visitors with the best and most informative experience which will increase every visitors appreciation for the creatures that live around us.
