They told me the inspector would be there between 9AM - 12PM. He was there at 9:01AM. He let me know that my ducts were BUSTED. Like really bad. Gaps everywhere, broken stuff. The "Miami special" he called it. Showed me videos of all the issues to verify what he was saying. Although at first I thought the quote they gave me was a bit on the higher end, after I saw everything they did I've changed my mind and think the quote was honestly very fair. They replaced all the ducts in my attic, hung them (they were lying on the floor before...), replaced all the vents, covered my entire house in plastic, added an air return to a bedroom, picked up all the debris when they were done, and did all that in just like 3-4 hours. Honestly these folks are incredible. Shoutout to Amit. Such a friendly and funny guy. He took the time to explain to me all the issues he was seeing and why they mattered. He was the first one in a line of guys to finally explain that the master bedroom was so hot (5+ degrees hotter than rest of the house) because it didn't have a return. Once they installed that it feels like I have a new house. I've never slept better.

He arrived with all tools needed for the job. A bad wire was diagnosed on my old Ruud outside unit which would not allow the fan to start. As a new home owner any type of unexpected repairs that come up can be stressful. So when I noticed…read morea leak in one of my bedrooms last night I was nervous as to what might be the cause and not to mention the cost to fix. I was relieved to realize that it was not a roof leak but still concerned to find that the condensation drain line of the a/c was clogged and the back up line was clogged and its pan was overflowing in the attic. Since I am new to the area I wasn't sure who to call that would be reliable, reputable and provide quality service. I will also mention that it was a 10 pm on a Sunday night when I discovered the issue so I was really lost as to where to turn after-hours. So I turned to Yelp to help my search. Florida Air & Heat was one of the first companies that had great reviews and provided online quotes. I sent an email around 11 pm thinking I would not hear anything until the morning. To my surprise I received a response in less than 10 minutes. I was provided a quote and appointment availability. I also contacted a few other companies and was happy to find that Florida Air had the most appropriate rate for that work that was to be done. I was provided a flat rate with no hidden "service call" fees which was GREAT. The next morning I spoke to Roger who was incredible friendly and was able to fit me in same day. When Roger arrived he was very professional and helpful explaining to me what he believed to be the issue and the steps he was going to take to resolve. He also confirmed the rate that was provided online before beginning any of the work. He was very efficient and the issue was resolved quickly. Roger also went the extra mile to show me the work he did and what I should look for as "normal" usage and what "warning" signs I should be aware of going forward. I was very impressed with Rogers service and will be sure to contact him in the future if anything arises again.

My place just had hurricane impact windows installed by MCI in Delray who did a horrific job! My…read morebrand new AC unit was ruined. The ducts were filled with dust and who knows what else! I spent a fortune having my place totally cleaned! Rugs, curtains, everything!!! After spending all that time and money getting my place somewhat clean we hired FL AC to come clean my ducts. That were filled with dust, mold, asbestos and possible lead? Year built 1974!!! This FL AC co came in knowing this and they knew my dusts had dust and unknown chemicals in it. Their job was to close off the other side of the ac duct so it doesn't blow these chemicals into the unit. The other side of my ducts went right into my bedroom too. Since I have developed breathing probs due to all this dust from MCI windows in Delray I had to leave the condo until they completed the job. When I came back into my place my throat totally closed up. I couldn't breathe. This co was supposed to cover and close up that vent and only allow the dirt and debris from my ducts to go back into their cleaning machine they used. Not have it blown out the other side of my vent where all this debris ended up! It's airborne and after spending a fortune on cleaning my place my bedroom was totally filled with dust and all these chemicals. Nothing was covered either! Everything in my bedroom was FILLED WITH DUST. My Rugs that I just had steam cleaned. MY bedroom smelled horrid and after spending all this time and money n cleaning my rugs and curtains it was back to the way MCI left it!!!. My bed blankets and sheets filled with dust!. My electronics were also filled with this dust. Chemicals we have NO idea that was inside those ducts! All my clothes ruined! They had to come in with a HEPA BIG MACHINE that had to run for three to four days! And I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE ELECTRIC FOR THIS??? Do not use this company Do not use MCI EITHER.
