We reserved unit #613 months ahead of our stay. After driving nearly 900 miles, we were 20 minutes away when I got a call telling us we could not check into #613. We were told the unit was out of service because of a maintenance issue, they wouldn't elaborate. We were given the option of a cottage #127 for part of our stay then we had to leave that unit and move to a 1st floor room in the high rise. Since it was Bike Week we didn't have many options, so we took what they had to offer. We were quite surprised at the state of unit #127. It was in dire need of upkeep. The unit we reserved #613 had a separate bedroom and living area. Since we had to switch units we requested a couch, they did bring a couch from another unit, however it was so wore out when setting on it, I swear out butts went all the way down to the hide-a-way bed. The toilet was barely fastened to the floor, setting on it made it wobbled side to side, when my husband told the front desk the lady responded with "really". That was as far as they went. You can see from the pictures some of the maintenance issues needing attention. After we packed up everything to move to the room in the high rise, we decided we didn't want to unpack and repack everything for just a few days, so we checked out. PROs- beautiful grounds, lovely view from unit #127, friendly and helpful staff, the cottage was very clean. We were told the property was recently sold and the new owners would be doing maintenance and repairs to the property. Honestly we would stay here again purely for the location. This review is just to give you a heads up if you plan on reserving unit #127.

Posatives: Right on the beach Foot, and full-body showers right off the beach Every upstairs room has a view Rooms are clean and cheery Nice outdoor pool Friendly and helpful staff Rooms are equipped with all the basics (t.v. dresser, table, closet, iron, ironing board, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster) Reasonable price Negatives: A few minor areas of disrepair (nothing to inconvenience the stay) No dishes in our kitchenette No way to control the humidity in the room. (even though there is A.C.) Other: While this place wouldn't necessarily be a destination stay, it is a very simple, pleasant place to stay while in the area.

Moon glistening off the ocean.

Overall we had a lovely stay. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well kept for an older hotel. No real modern amenities in the rooms. But everything was functional. A/C wall units. (Maintenance replaced ours during our stay so it was brand new) sink mini fridge and toaster. They did provide a few plates and utensils. Nothing fancy. But clean! The beds are on the firm side. Plenty of soft pillows. If you want housekeeping during your stay you have to request it. In the evenings they have tiki touches. So much fun and adds to the ambiance. Landscaping was well kept and beautiful. The pool and pool area was well kept. Kids and families all playing nicely together. The pool is located right next to the beach for a great view and breeze from the ocean. There is nothing luxurious about this hotel. But we were completely satisfied with our stay. The price was reasonable for the accommodations. We plan to return when visiting family in the area.

We stayed at the rv site. It was a great experience. Restrooms and showers are available. Really close to the beach and Publix and restaurants. Site are a bit close to each other but the site was nice and quiet for families. It's a great place for people with a family because it's away from Daytona but not far. The beach is quiet and clean

Awesome spot right on the beach with full hookups which is a rarity! This small RV "resort" is just steps away from the ocean Yes the spaces are tight and close together but who cares when you are that close to the ocean We were in spot 22 as no beach front spots were available but for only $ 46 a night it was a great deal and only one row over from the beachfront spots Pros- location, use of pool & amenities at hotel next door and full hook ups Negatives - not every site has picnic tables and no fires allowed May 1 , 2020 We are back again! ( 10th time I think) With crazy covid I can't imagine how the staff is doing all of this. Amazing customer service as always from the front desk and the manager Jen was amazing handling a little mix up of our reservation She is the type of hospitality manager everyone should want at their hotel/ RV Resort They held on to my amazon packages ( that arrived early!) for our arrival and we are camping out here for the next two weeks Booking next year ......

View from the North Cottage sun pad.

This is an old school Florida getaway! We've been coming here for a few years now. The employees are nice, friendly and very helpful. Some areas are "dated" but I think the dated rooms adds to the uniqueness of this place! The best part is it's very clean! From the grounds, pool, to the rooms it's just clean. This place is perfect for large family groups or the small family to couples. The beach area is nice and quiet for the most part. Depending if there is a large family reunion it can get busy, but plenty of places along the beach to relax.

The property is nice but there are no amenities. They advertise WIFI and broadcast a signal but whatever service they have is lousy.

I attending a woman's Christian conference in Daytona Beach. My church provided a group rate coupon…read morecode for Friday night at the Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront. This hotel was right across the street from Ocean Center where we would be headed the next morning. The hotel was massive having a south and north tower with 16 floors on each side. My roommate and I were ocean front on the 12th floor, nearly in the middle of the south tower. WOW, what a view! I didn't realize until arriving to the room there was no balcony. However, you could open a regular size sliding door to see and hear the ocean. There were bars like a balcony in front of the sliding door but you could only step out one foot on the tiny platform. I left the door open while I was reading and it was so peaceful to hear the ocean;) Parking was nearly two blocks away on the opposite side of the street and across the street from the entrance of Ocean Center behind a barbecue restaurant. This was a bit of a pain pulling the luggage that far. Plus you had to go up a steep incline to get into the lobby. I could have paid an extra $20 for parking overnight if I had used the hotels valet service. No thanks lol! We did get a discount for the parking lot because we were attending the conference. Instead of $35 it was $20 (with taxes $23). The hotel was a little dated. The light over the sink flickered. But did stop after the light was on for a little bit. The beds however were up to the Hilton standard as well as the pillows, nice and comfortable. I shared the room with a friend from church. I liked the feature of having an extra sink and mirror outside the bathroom. There was a mini fridge but no microwave. The desk chair needed replaced as the seat was very worn in. Service at the front desk was friendly and they helped answer all my questions about parking. It was a little confusing because you didn't have a ticket and I couldn't figure out how I would get out of the lot when the conference was over the next day. But the front desk attendant advised they would have someone at the exit gate to open it when the conference let out. And they did;) Thanks for a comfortable night's sleep Hilton! I would stay here again if attending a conference that included a discount code as this hotel was pretty pricey.

My wife and I stayed here for a couple of nights. We were in Daytona Beach to attend her nephew's…read moregraduation from Embry-Riddle with the ceremony being held across the street at Ocean Center. The location was perfect, on the beach and directly across the street from the Ocean Center where the graduation ceremony was to take place. However, this hotel has definitely seen much better days! The furnishings were tattered, the toilet made this loud ear-splitting sound when flushed, and the windows probably have not been cleaned in ages. We paid just under $630 for an ocean view room for 2 nights with taxes and fees, including a $35 a night parking in an uncovered lot across the street. I expected better from a Hilton property! This is one of those "one and done" hotels for us. I don't mind paying a decent chunk of change if the quality of the accommodations justify it, but this place does not. It's like the management doesn't even try to improve guests' experience since they "know" people would book a room for the convenience of the location.
