I took the classes Nov-December and I couldn't have been happier. From the sign up to the workouts, everyone was super nice and friendly. I loved working with Adam, who was always professional, with just the right amount of encouragement and the right amount of push. If you are ready for a small group setting to get back into it, or get into it from the couch, this is a supportive group. Tip: If you are a coming from the couch, welcome! This *will* be the perfect class for you in just a hot minute. My suggestion is to sign up for 1-2 personal sessions before the boot camp to get acquainted with some of the moves and the items. The second tip is that 3 days a week IS actually perfect to get started. This class doesn't have a ton of cardio, so you can actually do the best of your ability and be successful right away. 3x a week will also FEEL results pretty quickly. Carrying packages, putting away things, carrying your kids or grandkids is easier. As we age, strength training is one of the best things to carry on with a high quality of life. This boot camp gives you the cadence you need to build and build and protect yourself from getting injured. Join now, and tell everyone Danielle says hi.

    I moved from Sacramento and a fabulous personal trainer to the Seattle area, then COVID happened…read more I am primarily a runner, but strength training makes me a better runner, especially with the big hills in the area! As I finished of the 2021 race year, my last race aggravated an already worn and cranky knee. I figured it was time to see if I could find a good body work person to help with recovery. I found Dustin and not only does he do great body work, but I discovered he was a personal trainer as well. I did a DEXA scan then started working with him. I started building up strength, even though I couldn't run. Dustin was very careful not to do anything to aggravate the injury as he built the rest of me up, including supporting muscle groups. By April I was starting to run again. I was also trying to drop the extra COVID pounds I picked up, and while the scale didn't seem to be budging, my clothes were definitely feeling better. I did another DEXA scan, and I had dropped 10 pounds of fat (including most of the visceral fat) and picked up 10 pounds of lean mass, so definitely moving in the right direction! Dustin is very knowledgeable in anatomy, nutrition and the science around performance. We enjoy our discussions, and he appreciates my effort and enthusiasm, and the fact that I run around all over the country running these crazy Ragnar races. Not exactly your normal Grandma pursuit! I highly recommend Dustin, whether you are a competitive athlete, you want to be more healthy in general, fit in your clothes better, or don't want to fall over, break a hip and die! I say that last only somewhat tongue in cheek. It is definitely on my mind; I am appallingly close to that age! But I don't feel old, or look old, and my DEXA scan also shows I have very dense bones, another benefit of running and weightlifting! Just yesterday I was doing single-leg dead lifts with two 35 pound kettlebells and he said, "Just think, most people can't even do these without weight, and here you are with 70 pounds!" DON'T BE ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE! Go get in shape with Dustin! You don't HAVE to get to the really big kettlebells either. Talk to Dustin, figure out YOUR goals!

I had tried another lifting trainer nearby who just didn't work out, when I came to Camie to try working out with her. She's been wonderful for my physical and mental health ever since! She not only helped me with my goal of losing weight (40lb+ down and still losing), but also helped me with my nutrition and my last year's cardio goals as well of running my first marathon this past month. She does such a great job of always making sure to train her clients safely but also always continuing to push us well! Everyone comes to her with different goals, and she works individually with each of us on our personal goals.

    I've been getting my @$$ kicked by Camie the last 6+ months. I'm not a complete gym/ work out…read moreamateur nor completely out of shape to the point where I cannot function. We all have different goals (add muscle mass, lose weight, improve conditioning, etc), but to get results sometimes you just need someone else to lay it out for you and hold you accountable. I'm currently maintaining the most muscle mass in my life with noticeable improvements in strength, while the wifey has slimmed down a ton while adding muscle as well. We're all human and have flaws (cheat days) which she understands, but she'll hold you accountable for your poor diet and is always suggesting nutrition improvements. The workout space is in a building suite, with all the weights, machines, training equipment, etc. This isn't a typical gym; there are no cardio treadmills/ ellipticals/ bikes, but you can get the same effect with what she has you do (what trainer wants to watch you do cardio anyways?). The workouts are kept challenging and tailored to your end goal, as she pushes you to the max. She trains all age ranges from teens to seniors, individuals and small groups as well. Camie will be challenging, but at the same time everybody grows close (you can talk about anything and everything) as everyone operates on similar work out schedules. Definitely recommend her, and her loyal clients would probably agree as well.
