Nice large screened in porch providing room for all the family to visit.

When our son and his family come up to visit they often stay at thecopperheadlodge. They get a cabin with a large porch which makes for an enjoyable & relaxing visit after we have supper across the creek at The Flying Trout. Great location between Blairsville and Blue Ridge, near the Appalachian Trail, and a nice drive over to the scenic Blueridge Pkwy and Cherohala Skyway.

    Great food, great entertainment!

Had the braised short ribs and they were amazing. Sat at the bar well past dinner listening to the band.

This is a rare gem of a find. I'm here in January. It's the off season so the rates are low for just an amazing 2 BR 2Bath place with a hot tub, grill, outdoor TV, cornhole boards. The grounds are very walkable and gorgeous. The winter really opens up the woods and a nice creek runs through the property. These cabins are 5 star built and decorated. Really good woodwork craftsmanship in this one (Cabin #21). I have a white lab and they are pet friendly in some cabins. This pet friendly cabin has a gate on the front porch and a fenced in backyard with a beautiful field behind it. I could live here a month a year. The restaurant was excellent. Fireplace, live acoustic music (a country singer not only played Purple Rain but played it very well), friendly, prompt service (waitress came over and put more firewood in the fireplace beside my table) 10/10 great food, very clean, including the spotless restaurant restrooms. I've been to a few lodges that cost an arm and a leg but none were good as this.

My husband and I got rained out of our camping trip and the owner Denise was SO kind and generous! She got us in way before checkin time and remembered us during our stay. The whole staff is kind and welcoming, like family. We stayed in the hotel under the restaurant and it was so beautiful! The room is adorable decorated and everything is clean and well thought out, down to homemade soaps and a complete coffee bar. We will be back and highly recommended staying here!!

This is a beautiful Park Model Cabin community in Blairsville. Read that it was developed by bikers and our cabin had amazing artwork in that theme. Very disappointed that amenities are advertised and not open. The pool and restaurant are not open. The pool water was green, obviously not open for some rime.

    Reservation which was not honored

This was not the experience we had hoped for and it was not an experience we envisioned when making plans to travel to the Blairsville area. We had for the Copperhead Lodge reservations from April 28 to May 4th. Arrived after a 4-hour ride with our Motorcycles at Sunday April 28th at 14:00 at the Lodge. The doors of the Lodge closed and all looks very abandoned. Thinking we are arrived to early for check-in we called the number at the door as well the phone numbers published on the web side and on Facebook and leave message that we arrived and would like to check in. After waiting 2-hours wait no callback, we struggled to find now a different place to stay for the next week. We ended up to ride another 3- hours up to North Carolina to find another place taking us for another week. Still after one week of leaving several voice messages on different phone numbers we still have no callback and apology received. we still have not received at the end we transferred up the Bryson City to a lovely different Lodge right in downtown. Beside the poor experience not been able to stay at the lodge and the very poor management in control it showed also that there is a lack of proud ownership at the place. Everything looked not well cared for and so at the end we believe that even if we would have been able to get a room it would not had been as nicer a stay as the Restaurant of the Lodge itself seems as well to be closed. This place is only an option if you attending a large event when they open the Lodge and clean everything up. In the current state not a place to recommend for individual travelers As a fellow Motorcycle rider our recommendation is to stay away from this place. Better place to stay is to go the Iron Horse Lodge close to Robbinsville or any of the nice Hotels in Bryson City or Waynesville.

Black mold is toxic, this is the other wall outside our shower stall.....NASTY!!

Our family stayed here in the lodge (downstairs room) for one night too LONG! Me, my wife and two children (9yrs, and 7years). So many of the most important necessities needed for our stay was a disaster, it is easier for me to just list them with pictures. We will never return to this DUMP again. 1. All of the so called towels provided and neatly stacked in the bathroom had dirty grease marks or a huge fist sized hole in them!. (we had to skip our shower because no one was available upstairs, the light was off and check-in desk was empty). 2. The phone in our room did not connect to the front desk! No ring-ring or anything!. 3. The walls just outside the shower had visible water damage and mold on both sides! Nasty. 4. The web site we booked our reservation from for Crappyhead Lodge NEVER informed us that we were expected to take out our own trash in the morning or face extra charges!!!! Seriously....this place provided me with a flyer informing me "extra charges" would be billed if the trash was not bagged and set at the end of the driveway (just outside). Wow, did they want me to clean my own room also???. This place is a total joke. 5. From 4pm until 10 pm, the live music located upstairs was so loud that our family dare NOT try to sleep until it stopped at 10pm nom matter how tired we were and wanted to just rest. The sound from the base from the band constantly vibrated throughout our room. Beware if you book a lodge room, it is inescapable. 6.Wife and I walked upstairs to dine. Was informed a large party just got seated outside and we will need to wait 45 minutes before we could be seated (despite the fact we could see almost no tables in the dining room). We sat at bar, ordered immediately. Appetizer of Fried Calamari arrived undercooked / rubbery to taste, under breaded. looked like white rings. What bothered me most about this place was the bait and switch deception before and after we booked a room. NEVER was any indication provided that we were required to take out our own small amount of room trash or be penalized via additional room charges. They capture your credit card after you arrive, so your basically stuck at that point. BEWARE, call and confirm my point well before you book a room here!!! This place does NOT have customer service at the front of their concerns....it's getting your MONEY!.

Struck gold this weekend in the Georgia mountains! The Flying Trout is a restaurant located on the grounds of the Copperhead lodge, and should be on your must-try list. The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating for small and large party's of all sizes. The outdoor seating is a covered wrap around deck with a fireplace and view of a babbling mountain creek. Inside, diners can find casual bar seating as well as a quaint table dining area with an inviting fireplace. We elected to order the truffle chips as an appetizer to start. The chips were homemade kettle cooked style potato chips that were complimented with a mushroom and garlic truffle sauce with scallions. For dinner our group had a hodgepodge or different entrees including the trout, the sage chicken, and my personal favorite the chicken and waffles! The chicken and waffles is a double stacked waffle and fried chicken breast accompanied by sweet potato tater tots and a spicy breakfast sausage to top it off. The meal can easily be shared by two people and will have diners staring in envy. Every plate was a quality dish with a portion large enough to satisfy even the hungriest appetite. Strike it rich with your search for a great restaurant in the North Georgia mountains.

We came here for the All American Biker event and it was great. Our cabin was right across the street from the event. The cabin we stayed in had a queen bed, futon couch, and a bunk bed, which was more than enough room for 3 adults and 2 kids. Our cabin had a beautiful screened in back porch and a hot tub. The lodge has a salt water pool, which the kids loved. There was plenty of grass for the kids and two dogs to run around.

We were greeted by a woman who gave us some good recommendations. However once she poured the wine on the carafe, we were not given wine glasses to pour them in. As a first timer, we just thought we were supposed to drink from those. It was only until a very nice lady who works there walked by and asked us where our glasses were. We said we were not given any. She went inside and got us two wine glasses with a little bag of oyster crackers each. It was a lovely day! Can't wait to come with my friends and family.

Overall, not a bad spot and it doubles as a venue so some leeway is to be had; it does indeed feel like you are just eating in the non-event hours (because you practically are). There was plenty of tables and it has potential; my only gripe is there was some mosquitos (alive and dead) at our table and a few flies buzzing about. The food was alright. The butter chicken was delicious and cooked perfectly (albeit some of the spiciest i've had so beware) and the mango lassi was great. HOWEVER, what is of utmost disappointment is the fact the naan is quite literally just the frozen/shelf bought naan you get at the store. You can tell they just open it, toss it in a microwave, and serve it. Fresh, homemade naan is a highlight of good indian food and for the price that's a huge letdown. The portions could also be better for the price point. We ended up paying over $70 after tip for two people (two entrees, a drink, and two naans each because it was just one store bought piece every order torn in half). I've had twice the food for half that price elsewhere. In summary, this place has potential and some grace is to be given since it's not solely a restaurant. The service is excellent and ambiance fine. However, the price, portion, and manufactured naan knocks it down a level. Give it a try.

Although the setting is admittedly spectacular, acres of hilly vineyards with views of the mountain behind, and the patio was certainly fancy, the tables each with fire pits in the center providing cheery warmth, the tasting experience itself was sub-par and overpriced. It lacked the authentic feel I've seen in other wineries and seems more of a tourist destination. First thing I noticed is the shockingly high tasting fee of $35 for a flight of 4 2-ounce pours of their choice. No substitutions allowed! Either these are some spectacularly great wines or this is a major rip-off. I passed. But since I was here I decided to have a glass. I got one of their estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon. It was around $16 but since I was here. It was good, but certainly not worth the $48 they charge for a bottle. For the $35 do you get individual attention, descriptions from the bartender about the wines and about their winery? No. You get 4 labeled glasses to take back to your table. Not worth it. Find another place less touristy, more authentic. That shouldn't be hard. There are like 65 wineries in the area!

Whether it's for an afternoon date, or a full out wedding among the rows of vines, it's hard not to feel love in the air. Great outdoor seating, both covered and uncovered, place you right above the beautiful vineyard and allow you to take it all in. Yonah Mountains Vineyards separates itself from the others by providing familiar wines such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay etc as opposed to the traditional Muscadine wines of the south. The wine itself is decent, but definitely not near the quality of the west coast wines, but all were enjoyable. I particularly liked their Genesis 12, a red wine blend, and their Viognier, an impressive white. Wine flights are around $60 with a choice between white, red, or mixed. Bottles run around $40-100. A little pricey for the product, but then again, it's the whole experience that you are buying, and it's money well spent. Yonah Mountain Vineyards strikes the perfect balance between classy and casual. You'll be just as comfortable in jeans as in a tux or a horrid bridesmaid dress. Cheers!

Our wedding guests raved all night (and are still raving) about how our wedding is the most beautiful wedding they've ever been to (domestically and internationally). My maid of honor and several of my friends asked if I would mind if they had their weddings at Neverland Farms too! Truthfully, I'd love ANY excuse to come back. The owner, Suzy, her team, and the atmosphere of this place is something so special. From the horse and carriage ride into the ceremony that will leave your guests awe struck, to the expansive 120 acre property full of lush greenery, this is a luxury venue with natural charm. The owner, Suzy, is one of the best people I've ever met in my life. The moment we met, she pulled me and my now husband in for a huge, loving hug. The rest of our experience for the next year and a half followed suit. She made our wedding planning a breeze and full of love. She took care of us with so much attention to detail. I never felt stressed during the entire planning process. Suzy's entire wedding team carries the same energy. The day is about YOU and it is so felt. They waited on our every beck and call. I really felt like a princess. And EVERYTHING was meticulously planned to make sure we weren't left feeling without a single thing. Nora, Taylor, Ann, Pam, Mitzi, and Michael are all such beautiful souls and I will cherish the part they played in our wedding day for the rest of my life. I literally was hugging everyone all night! It can be difficult to find a wedding venue that caters, provides bar service, in-house day-of coordination, decor, chairs & tables, etc. The price is affordable and in NO way do you have to compromise on any part of the magic you'd want on your wedding day. Everyone here goes above and beyond. I'm the kind of person who obsesses over the details so I wanted to leave an honest review about this venue. Here were some of my concerns PRIOR to our tour that aren't mentioned in previous reviews and hopefully I can clarify them for the next bride! - I personally did not want a "country/southern" wedding and if you're a similar bride, this venue has southern elements, but feels more like a whimsical, luminous, enchanting private hideaway for you and your loved ones. - We are from south FL so I was concerned about the lack of diversity in the area. Although it's not very diverse, everyone is so nice in the surrounding towns. And once you're in Neverland Farms, you have 120 private acres to yourself. I could go on infinitely about how perfect our entire experience was. If you're on the fence, PLEASE at least go tour the venue. You will not be disappointed. Two days after our wedding, I still have blissful goosebumps. Please excuse the low quality photos! Our professional photos are not back yet :)

I dont even know where to start. Even just trying to think of how to encapsulate what Neverland…read moreFarms means to us feels impossible. We recently had the utmost pleasure of hosting our wedding at Neverland Farms, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment I had my first call with Suzy, to the first time we set foot on the property to the last dance of the evening, everything was simply perfect. It was more than perfect. It was a dream. Venue and Atmosphere: The venue itself is a hidden gem, nestled in the heart of Cleveland, GA. The natural beauty of the surroundings, with lush woods, a charming barn, and a serene pond, provided an exquisite backdrop for our special day. Whether you're going for an elegant, rustic, or modern wedding, this venue can transform to suit your vision. Staff and Service: The staff at Neverland Farms went above and beyond to make our day flawless. They were professional, attentive, and extremely accommodating, and genuine all amazing people. Suzy and Nora were a dream to work with, ensuring that every detail was taken care of. The service provided by the entire team was impeccable.. and honestly unheard of. There wasn't a single thing they missed, a single thing that wasn't absolutely perfect. At the end of the day the only thing that saddened me was that I wouldn't be seeing any of these amazing people anytime soon. They genuinely felt like family and the closest of friends. Catering and Food: The catering at Neverland Farms is top-notch and I am a huge foodie who has spent years working in a kitchen. The menu options were diverse, and the food was not only delicious but beautifully presented. Many of our guests raved about the quality of the food, and the accommodating staff ensured that all dietary restrictions were well-handled. I can't tell you how many people have asked for recipes. I am sure every single item on their menu selection is divine but the tomato bisque, smoked salmon and Mac n Cheese are sinful. If we didn't have a barn full of guests I would have spent the entire evening just stuffing my face. After thought I should have totally brought a doggie bag to sneak some snacks to take home ha! Amenities and Facilities: The venue offers a range of amenities and facilities that made our day even more dreamy. The bridal suite and groom's loft were both beautiful and like nothing I have ever seen before. Suzy keeps the bridal suite a secret to the day of and I wont go into too much detail but walking in for the first time brought tears to my eyes. The sound and lighting systems were excellent, and the dance floor was perfectly nestled in the center of the hall. The entire venue is overflowing with natural light, trees, ferns and more twinkly lights that you could ever imagine. Value for Money: I have nothing to say here except Neverland Farms is worth every single penny and cent. Weddings seem exponential when it comes to cost for something that truly goes by in a flash. But, I would do it all again and only at Neverland Farms. Overall: And, here is where my waterworks start. Our wedding at Neverland Farms was truly a fairy-tale experience. And, yes I know that is a cliche but it's true and there are no other words to describe it. The combination of the beautiful venue, outstanding service, and delicious food made it a day we, and our guests, will cherish forever. If you're looking for the perfect wedding venue, amazing people to help and stand by you, and memories to last a lifetime... I wholeheartedly recommend Neverland Farms. Hats off to the entire team for making our special day a dream come true. We will love you all forever. We will miss you all dearly. Thank You from the deepest crevices of our hearts.
