We also had the nacho fries which were topped with everything. The only downside to the fries were that the fries were soggy. However they were fresh cut potato fries. The roll looked like it was bought from a general store and the cheese looked like nacho cheese you get in a can. I will give them credit that the fries tasted fresh but again, I was overall underwhelmed with the whole meal. Truthfully I would have considered giving this place four stars but the total cost of this meal came out to more than $30, which is a bit crazy. I understand we are going through an inflation period but a cheesesteak and fries costing that much is insane. Had the meal blown me away, I would have understood the high price. There may not be many cheesesteak shops in the Bay Area but there are enough where I can compare the quality and price of those shops to this truck. The quality of the sandwiches is definitely similar but the other places are way cheaper. Herman was super communicative in the planning process, giving us lots of options and figuring out the ideal menu for our guests. He then was able to shift the arrival time slot at the last minute to accommodate our needs. He arrived early and began set up of a beautiful appetizers table which got the party started. Once the truck was ready to go, our guests were thrilled with the food. Everything from tacos to burritos to bowls were delicious and authentic. The out of towners were especially thrilled to get real Mexican food! After the party concluded, Herman handled the break down and pack up like a pro. During the whole thing he operated independently which allowed us to enjoy our time as hosts.
