Amazing food, friendly service, clean bathrooms, affordable pricing, every thing was amazing

Last time we were here a few years ago the Manager and the food were absolutely terrible. We have not been back since. It's a shame because this place use to be very good when we first moved to the area back in 2014. It has really gone down hill since. I ordered delivery and got the Honey Glazed Croissants (5 pc), She Crab Soup and White Chocolate Banana Pudding. The croissants were fresh, warm and so delicious, almost reminded me of a fluffy donut. The She Crab soup portion was smaller than expected, but it had pieces of real crab meat and was rich yet delicate without being too heavy, a smooth crab bisque flavor. I definitely recommend it. The banana pudding was very sweet, I didn't taste much white chocolate, mostly tasted like bananas and whipped cream but it hit the spot & for the price, they give you a huge portion that could feed 2-3 people. Surprisingly, I think the croissants were my favorite, followed by the soup and then the pudding but everything was very good! read more

Went in to Copper River in Boiling Springs. This is on a Monday. They weren't busy. They didn't want to take us due to the big number. Poor business model in my opinion. A good Mexican restaurant got our business that night. Thanks La Paz. It was good. read more

Copper River is AahMazing! We have tried several locations and have never been dissatisfied. You can't leave without trying the Banana pudding with white chocolate shavings on top,,,, or the steak nachos! Yummy stuff! read more

This place was great!!! We were staying at the Days Inn across the street and they recommended this place. We had a fabulous dinner - love, love, loved the house dressing (a combo of honey mustard and hot bacon dressing) so much that I have been thinking about it ever since. They are a little bit bacon-centric... They should probably cut back a bit on that LOL. My daughter's potato soup really should have been called bacon soup. Believe me, I love bacon, but it was a bit overwhelming. Other than that, the place was great. Our server was wonderful and I loved the layout/décor of the restaurant. Would love to eat here again sometime if I'm in the area. read more

I called this established to validate a takeout which put in through their website. I was notified by my bank that I was charged, however on their website it said that my payment information was incorrect. So, I called to validate whether my order was successful in being accepted or not. The server at the front who answered was very rude and yelled at saying well I don't see it. I then asked for a manager. She tells (Scott) who is the manager that I was mad because she didn't see my order and that I was yelling at her. Which is a lie. It was her rude and unprofessional demeanor that was shown throughout our short interaction. Scott comes on the phone and says he does not see it, he then goes to another computer and says he does not see it. Then eventually, he finds it. I tell Scott thank you and Scott hangs the phone up in my face. So I see why the employees are rude and lack customer service. When the Manager treats customers this way it just makes more sense. Please do not go to this location, if you looking to be treated with respect. read more

A crowded Saturday night and this restaurant wanted to blame two customers for taking too long at a 6 seat table. While I wish those patrons had been more considerate of everyone waiting after they had eaten, paid their bill and continued to take up the table with no end in sight, I think the blame really falls on whoever sat 2 people at one of the apparently few six seat tables. The inappropriately older man, who seemed to be a manager, who was lingering with the much younger hostesses the entire hour and a half wait (which was supposed to be 35 minutes) decided that badmouthing the two customers to everyone about the wait was a better response than simply addressing them directly. When I cancelled our table, I tried to make a joke out of it but it's as if it was an insult that I didn't want to wait indefinitely for this place. Didn't even get a cursory "sorry" just met with rude looks while my family departed. read more

I went there on Wednesday afternoon and got the chicken alfredo. The portion was huge but it did not taste any good. It was $22, so I brought it home for my grandma to try and she agreed that it was horrible and not worth it. My drink was also gross but my server was inattentive and claimed to have personal problems that she had to take care of while she was waiting on us. Dinner on a Thursday night. Got here pretty early and the place wasn't too busy yet. The decor is nice and it seems really big on the inside. We started with the Bacon Ranch Cheese Fries. What a huge mound of crispy cheesy bacon covered fries! No way we could eat them all... you would need about 4 people for that. I also got the 6 piece buffalo wings. These were some of the best wings I've ever had. You could definitely tell they were smoked... the flavor and how tender they were was awesome. I also really liked the buffalo sauce. Our service was stellar. Our server, Shasta, took great care of us and we will definitely ask for her next time. read more

I went there a few days ago with a good friend of mine. The service was excellent. Whenever you're there, ask for Brianna as your server. She was awesome. However, the food didn't meet my expectations. I had the 10 oz sirloin with the haystack onions, and baked sweet potato. I ask for the steak to be cooked at medium, it came to me close to well done. I also requested for it to be seasoned so I can have flavor in my steak. It was completely bland. The haystack onions were saturated with the taste of grease and salt. On a funny note, the only thing I truly enjoyed was the sweet potato. I doubt if I visit there again. read more

Our server, Latasha, was fantastic! Friendly, helpful, welcoming, efficient. She did not even have to write down our order, asked excellent questions to guide us, and got every single bit of our order correct. My dining companions absolutely loved the salmon with hickory sauce. We also loved the Haystack fried onions. Loaded baked potatoes were truly loaded, which you don't often see most other places. Portions of all dishes were very generous. The ambience is welcoming and spacious, but could use a little bit more decor (maybe some silk plants?). overall, we loved our experience and will come back again when we are in the area, and we will ask for Latasha! read more

Salad was good. Food was ok. Service was ok for what it was. Dining experience lacked overall. The issue I find with all states who don't pay a minimum wage to their wait staff is that they are not only underpaid, but the turn over is so high that they are also undertrained. It's small things like bringing out drinks for the kids, making sure the kids have their food and getting orders right. We have a hard time at restaurants because our son is high functioning autistic and he gets restless and irritable very easily. With that said we also have a 2 year old and a 9mo old so we don't get to go out to eat all that often. We reordered the same thing that we ordered on our trip out here in December. It was ok, but not as great as we remembered it. Our daughter's drink wasn't brought out when her brother's was which caused a tantrum. Our son's order was the last item brought to the table and it was the wrong item. Our kids melted down. They were restless and we couldn't even finish our meals. Service is so important. As a mom of three I need these trips out. I wish that restaurants valued the entire dining experience for their patrons which could result in repeat business and increased word of mouth. Especially with so many dining options out there, customer service and overall experience has to be valued at the top of the list. read more

Email I sent to management: had to cut it bc I was over the limit It was the worst 2 hours. From 6:15 to after 8.... The only person the waitress conversed with and followed up with was the white guy... which was my Asian friends husband. She was very upset how dismissive and annoyed the waitress was with us but so nice to her husband. She was visibly upset each time we asked for something or needed something. Our drinks stayed dry. When the check came she passed it to him. When she came back and saw I had the check and was questioning things on the bill she instantly got annoyed. I was charged $6 for the salad that came with the salmon.... And a kid was charged $15 for a burger.... He took this off in the end but we had to ask... the chicken tenders came with a salad but someone brought it to table not Togo so I sent it back... that is the only reason Blake took off the salad he was forcing me to pay for since i sent his salmon back but kept the salad. I'm guessing him and the waitress had the typical rude assumption that people of color aspire to receive free things and discounts and get over so I was going to pay for something and not get free things per his explanation as to why they went out of their way to add the salad on to the pizza.... I was charged $20 for a pizza that I didn't eat and didn't ask him to remove it. It arrived after all the food was packed up and my friends were ready to go... so it was left on the table. The tab was over $200... no one came there to get free stuff we came for a night out and between the waitress and the manager our experience is something we will never return for. But the racist micro aggressions We experienced were horrible, and need to be addressed. The only person at the table who enjoyed their food and their food looked great was the white guy. Even the kids packed up all the food. No one finished their food but him. It all went out the door and in the trash. The only thing that was decent was the chicken tenders and fries we got to go. That was it. I'm attaching pictures for reference. The salmon looked thrown to together and undercooked... this was our table at the end... bc she never cleared it and neither did he when he came out pissed about me not wanting something that didn't look appetizing nor what you all normally serve. I wanted to include photos so you could see that the pizza looked nice but you can clearly see when it came out I was alone by then with my baby. My guests were over the vibe and had walked out. I still hadn't got my to go order yet so I had to sit there and wait and be ignored by my waitress bc she was upset that she didn't deliver a great experience and her manager Blake was the icing on the cake. He made sure to let me know he only felt obligated to remove the kids burger bc the waitress should have told my friend when she ordered that there was no kids burger... but doubled down on charging me for the salad. He was horrible and the experience was horrible. I'm not just a black chick who won't come back, my white friend and his Asian wife won't either... and I'm sure they will share their experience with others. So he may think one less complaining black person the better... but that's not the case here. They assumed I was just there to eat for free... she was already told before I arrived it was one ticket... so she thought it couldn't be me and treated me as such. First visit to restaurant - atmosphere is a cross between Texas steakhouse and restaurant like J Alexander's but more open yet well lit in right areas Coke to drink - just right amount of carbonation - good flavor Ordered the 8 oz filet - medium with fettuccine Alfredo & side salad come with hot shredded bacon and chopped hard boiled eggs and honey mustard dressing - flavorful and decent size portioned. Steak was closer to well done than medium but had really good taste and not dry - my fault I told waitress didn't want rare in middle and I'd cook needed filet it go ahead. Good courteous service and a busy atmosphere. It didn't take long to see why they were so busy. After a 20 minute wait we were shown to our tables and ordered our food. After an ample time of waiting it was brought to our table and was very appealing to see as well as tasting great. Average to below average place..some of the food is pretty good..some I would def never order again. The croissants are ok..that glacier icing on them makes them entirely too sweet..the wings are usually on the over cooked side..which makes them sorta dry..the pizza I will never get again..$15.90 for the big gambini add onions..I was not impressed..the dough was really chewy and hard..the prime rib sandwich lacked of any seasonings..but the French fries were good., The service is kinda slow at times..have to ask for napkins, straws, and condiments, usually have to ask for refills on drinks as well.. The restaurant is nice and big..good atmosphere..with a open style kitchen..bar area is big..with two big screen televisions.. the restaurant kinda reminds you of Ruby Tuesdays or Applebees..where the decor is ok but the food and service are subpar..I am not sure if I will return anytime soon, unless my friends would like to go.. read more

We actually went to another restaurant, waited for over an hour and a half, then came here. We were already eating when we got messaged from the other restaurant that our table was ready! I was on a road trip and traveling through the Spartanburg area and decided to meet up with a friend for dinner. We decided to meet up at this restaurant and I am so glad we did. The excellent service started at the front door where a bubbly smiling hostess greeted us and took us to our table. The server continued this great experience with great service. The food was absolutely outstanding. The restaurant itself has a cozy atmosphere and is beautifully decorated. My dinner companion had the ribeye and I had the stuffed flounder with shrimp. The flounder was simply the best I've ever eaten. Perfectly cooked, not dry, the crab filling was divine. The vegetables I had as a side were just right. Not soggy and over cooked. Still a little crisp and delicious. I live almost 3 hours away in Georgia. I wish we had one close to me. I'd definitely be a regular. Best meal I've had in a long time. read more

This is my first and probably only food review I will ever make. We got to the restaurant at 8:10. The restaurant doesn't close until 9 so that is almost a full hour until close. There was a young lady at the hostess stand with purple-ish hair and she was counting money at the stand and did not even make eye contact with us. Literally went out of her way to not look at us or speak to us. Everyone else in the restaurant just stared at my girlfriend and I and giggled at us and ignored us. Not one person even had the decency to at least say "hey sorry we're closed for the night", or sorry we will be with you in a moment. Which that would be stupid anyway considering they were open almost an entire hour longer. We couldn't even get sat and stood at the hostess stand for 10 minutes before leaving. Never have I felt more unwelcome or unimportant. That was absolutely piss poor trash service and experience. I will go out of my way to make sure everyone I know how awful and disrespectful that experience and staff were. Obviously they don't care about their jobs or their customers and will never get my money again. Do better. read more

Four of us came here for lunch midweek. We got right in and were seated at a table immediately without a reservation. There was some confusion on the ice tea ordering - regular versus sweet tea. "Regular" means sweet tea. I ordered the Mobbed salad without the bacon or crispy things. It came as ordered and with the dressing in the side. It was delicious. The crumbled blue cheese added so much. Atmosphere a little loud (chatty) and music too low. Good spot for a salad. read more

Just left this place and all I can say is Yum! We are up here staying in a local hotel after we had to evacuate our home in North Carolina from the hurricane. I brought my son here to have dinner and I am so glad I did. Our waitress Dominique L. was absolutely the best. She was attentive, friendly and so sweet. It was nice to get out of our hotel and get to sit down to a nice restaurant and have great food. Definitely will go back if we are ever up this way again. Unfortunately, I did not take any pictures because by the time our food came out, close to 40 minutes after we ordered, we were all starved and hangry. But the irritability did not end there. My grilled salmon salad featured a succulent and sizable piece of salmon cooked well, if only slightly under seasoned. However, the "salad" consisted of canned, pre-sliced Kalamata olives, white and yellow romain cores, and pre-cut tomato pieces. I ultimately picked the salmon out of the salad after I mistakenly mixed it all together. I was also brought balsamic vinaigrette instead of olive oil and balsamic vinegar, and when I asked for the right dressing, the waitress brought me full bottles of olive oil and balsamic vinegar -- annoying, but not really an issue. My mother ordered the hamburger steak, which came out pink and undercooked. Considering that it was hamburger meat, she sent it back to be cooked more. Ultimately it came out cooked well. Her mixed vegetables were frozen and steamed squash, zucchini, and broccoli slabbed with butter or margarine. Overall, it looked like a cheap TV dinner you'd buy in the frozen section at Walmart. By father's pizza looked fine -- cheesy and well cooked. Our waitress was nice, but that's about it. The service was beyond lackluster, and we had to ask the manager's for assistance once she walked by. My father had to ask for parmesan cheese twice, and the manager eventually brought it out. Our drink glasses were empty for a sizable portion of our meal. It was simply "meh." At $50 for three people we were highly disappointed. read more

As a general rule I don't eat ground beef at any temp other than well done. MAYBE medium well depending on the restaurant. So imagine my disappointment when I ordered not one but 2 cousin Yeti's chopped steak dishes from Copper River and they're medium rare. The worst part is I ordered via Hub City so I couldn't just send my food back. $62 for a salad and some mediocre chips and dip. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because my salad and croissant were on point, but I guess those would be nearly impossible to mess up. read more
