TCB demoed and totally remodeled the original bathroom. Gutted it all, repaired, and replaced the rotten floor, re-sheetrocked, all new plumbing and electrical and painted. For an incredible price. TCB has done a complete kitchen restoration for us, including more rotten floors and neglected plumbing. They installed beautiful cabinets, Butcher Block counters, Saltillo tile floors, and a beautiful back splash. They installed new vinyl flooring throughout the house and again repaired more structural damage to the sub floors. They also have done a complete buildout for a new metal building we had installed in place of the garage, turning it into a workable shop. These guys know what they are doing, the quality of work is exceptional, and they work with you and your budget. Hands down, the best contractors in town!

Shout out to Adam Pias and All Covered Roofing. They were replacing roofs in my area. I asked if…read morethey could inspect mine. I was leery they would find multiple issues since it was the original roof and 20 yrs old. I was hesitant to mention I had heard some noise in the attic. I was really concerned of a potential opening to allow squirrels etc. to enter. The roof was inspected the following day. No damage warranting shingle replacement was noted . No potential entry sites. He later examined the remainder of the house looking at openings around the soffits. He did notice a small leak under the front porch ceiling . Further examination revealed a loose shingle which he repaired. While the roof does not need to be replaced at this time, the professionalism and honesty of this gentleman who represented All Covered Roofing speaks volumes. Just a few days prior to his arrival another roofer had posted info about unscrupulous practices of roofing companies on FB in my subdivision. I was prepared for all the tricks. I was thrilled to interact with someone who was honest and had integrity. When the roof needs to be replaced , this company will definitely be on the call list. Again your honesty about my roofing needs were greatly appreciated !!

We chose Nash remodeling after extensive research and a long interviewing process. Based on the experience I had, I can say that they are one of the best remodeling companies in Houston. Their price fell in the middle range of all the companies we got quoted from. They also provided us design ideas during initial consultation. Ruben was very attentive to our needs and spent extra time to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. He even accommodated our design change after half of the bathroom tiles were completed. They worked long hour right before holiday to insure project was completed on time. Nash remodeling team did wonderful clean-up jobs daily and at the end of the project. They even cleaned up the areas outside their project areas. Now we have two elegant bathrooms that fit our style and budget and the amazing and beautiful kitchen that we love. Definitely DO NOT recommend. I hired him because he said he had capacity and it would be ~2 weeks…read more It took them over 2 months to finish with numerous issues and added costs. Rudy sold his services as a General Contractor but didn't do anything to actually manage the project other than organize some subcontractors. I had to PM most of it myself. He passed on his subcontractors' pricing without ever questioning it. He brought down his quotes several thousand dollars after I called different things into question. He did nothing to educate me on things that needed to be done such as sealing the marble tiles on the shower floor. I spent $25k on a bathroom renovation and the shower floor looks like crap after just a few weeks. Spare yourself and hire a different contractor! Who knows what it'll cost me now to fix it, but it won't be with Rudy.

Communication is their downfall - from the time I ordered and was told to expect it to the actual…read moretime of delivery (delivered way later than they first said they would); to them confusing me with another customer; and to having sent a different brand of materials on the day the products were installed. In any business, I expect complete transparency and they have fallen short on that. If my husband didn't pay attention to details, we wouldn't have known they had given us materials different from what we had actually ordered. If we didn't call them out on it, they probably would've never told us about it either. Another thing is, when they sent us a quote, it included removal of the carpets. When I told them that we had already removed the carpets and staples, they still did not adjust the price. They came back and just said that the original quote was already "discounted". They never mentioned which one was discounted from the previous quote. We asked them about it and nothing specific was being said about which item was actually "discounted". Again, a flaw in the communication chain. On the day of installation, even though the installers did a good job, it would've helped a lot of one of them can actually speak and understand English. They had the radio blaring. I had asked them to turn it down but I don't think they even understood what I'm saying. My husband works from home and is having conference calls all day and I'm homeschooling my kids while I'm working on my desk. And these guys doesn't seem to mind talking loudly to each other and crank up their radio. To the owner, please look into this as not all the residents you service are Spanish-speaking. I didn't want to ruffle feathers and didn't want them to take it out on me and do a poor job if I call them out, so I sent my kids outside. It's a hassle, to say the least. As much as I hate giving this kind of review and rating, I'm also obligated to speak out the truth as it is. And I hope positive changes will come out of this review.

We have trusted William as our go-to handyman for years and will absolutely continue to use his…read moreservices. He is fairly priced, communicative, and exceptionally honest. William is on-site 90% of the time working alongside his crew, who work efficiently without needing any oversight. He asks the right questions and always offers brilliant project suggestions. Background & First Rental Property We were introduced to William Whalen (Handyman Around the Corner) by the owners of Malt & Burger after seeing the excellent refurbishment work he did on their restaurant. William has handled multiple large-scale repair jobs for us over the years, starting with getting our first rental property ready for sale. It involved a massive list of detailed, nit-picky items, and his team knocked them out quickly and affordably. Work on the first rental included: * Living Areas & Bedrooms: Complete paint touch-ups, lubricating stubborn blinds, installing missing outlet/switch plates, mounting mirrors, and installing heavy glass cabinet doors. * Kitchen & Bathrooms: Replacing plumbing fixtures/faucets, re-attaching the dishwasher kickplate, and repainting the master bathroom vanity and cabinetry. * Utility & Safety: Installing an extended dryer exhaust hose, cleaning out deep roof-line lint vents, and covering exposed electrical outlets. * Exterior & Garage: Repairing storm door handles and weatherstripping, patching/painting garage ceilings, and securely hanging fluorescent workshop lights. Our Main House For our primary residence, William and his crew stepped up to handle major exterior upgrades and structural changes, including: * Replacing three windows and fully recaulking all windows. * Pressure washing and painting the entire exterior of the house. * Demolishing the rear patio cover and adjusting the rear screen door. * Replacing the front door completely. * Installing a foundational drip line system. Second Rental Property On our second rental unit, they executed a total refresh from top to bottom: * Exterior Maintenance: Repairing and recaulking the Hardie siding seams, followed by two fresh coats of exterior paint. * Fencing: Installing two new 6 ft. x 6 ft. chain-link gates. * Interior Overhaul: Repairing drywall damage, refreshing the trim and baseboards with new paint, and installing a foundational drip line. * Flooring Highlight: Replaced all old flooring with waterproof laminate flooring and new shoe molding. A huge shoutout goes to his flooring specialist--he was incredibly fast, and the final floor job was absolutely perfect! Minor Adjustments & Accountability Any minor do-overs were rare and handled with total professionalism. When a few windows needed better caulking and paint touch-ups, William's painter immediately came back to scrape and recaulk everything perfectly. There were a couple of quick DIY fixes on my end for minor drip line leaks, though in William's defense, these specific Swan Hose Element EZ-Connect Soaker Hoses were a unique system he hadn't used before. We also had a slight communication mix-up regarding the soffit above the demolished patio cover; I requested to "tear it down" but forgot to specify restoring the original soffit layout. Even so, William proactively sent a crew member out to try and clip it back into place for us. Final Verdict If I owned a larger portfolio of rental properties, I would put William on a monthly retainer without hesitation. If you want a contractor who is honest, fast, reasonable, and brings top-tier specialists to the job, I highly recommend Handyman Around the Corner.
