I went there to earn a certificate and I only had one course to go to fulfill the 15 units when they dropped the program. A few years later they brought it back and I was able to take that one course and get the certificate. I asked more than once why they dropped the program in the first place and never got an answer. They had to have a reason and should have just been honest with me. If you can, go to College of the Desert in Palm Desert instead of CMC in Joshua Tree. COD has better instructors and offers more degrees, certificates and individual courses.

I woke up this morning and every class that I need for this semester is waitlisted with the exception of one three Credit class. I initially had 13 units I was taking that I need. I've attended colleges in other cities and counties, and they were much nicer and much easier to attend. This is the third time it's happened to me so it sent me back a year and a half total. It feels like an uphill battle trying to get any sort of education from this college. I'm constantly forced to just take whatever class is available if I want to attend and I need my actual prerequisites and things necessary for my education goal. I went to UCSD for my first degree and I think that these instructors here at CSUSM Temecula are way more approachable. They all want you to pass the class so they are open to helping you succeed.
