country pub in Broadhempston, a few miles from Totnes, Devon (Qype doesnt recognise this town) but you'll find it tucked away in the countryside- you'll need a map or good satnav. Famous for its 2-in one pies, this oldy-worldy inn does the best sunday lunch you will ever experience. Big portions, and all fresh. Its had all sorts of fab reviews in the national press and won awards. It's run by James (jnr) and dad, James(senior). Young James is quite the host and will give you a great welcome whoever you are and wherever you've come from. Sunday lunch will cost you all of £8.99! Its all home-made and you really won't find better. Make sure to try the home-made fudge with your coffee, its to die for..This really is a genuine find. We regularly dine there and have never had a dud meal. Huge log fire in winter but not as warm as the welcome you'll get here. HIGHLY recommended read more
