This is the town's principal delicatessen but it also provides a few tables where a good range of hot and cold meals are served as well as cakes and pastries. It is situated in New Street (number 7) in the centre of the town. Parking in the High St nearby is usually available (1 hour). Public Car Parks are available nearby. Good home cooking is the order of the day here and the staff offer a cheerful welcome to all their guests. An extensive range of hot and cold delicious lunches is available as is an excellent range of home cooked cakes and pastries. Proprietors Joanna and David Burkey take a personal interest in ensuring the establishment always meets their customers high expectations. 'Champers' is popular with the locals, many making this their favourite lunch time stop. Everything is very reasonably and competitively priced and the well stocked delicatessen presents a wide range of interesting produce including speciality cheeses. Well worth a visit. read more
