Great guy - attempted a jump in parking lot of Best Western/Charleston, no dice, he suggested we head over to local Enterprise, we did, they sent us to the airport Enterprise, he took me and the van over there and he waited with me at the desk for keys to a Grand Cherokee (also new) which would ultimately get me through 7 days of driving, trouble-free.
