Liar, scam. Worst printing place. They tried to scam me by making a mistake with the printing size and charging me extra. The person handling my order, a hairy guy, made things complicated by explaining different printing materials, which seemed like a tactic to confuse and scam me. Additionally, he did not provide an exact quote for the printing cost. Despite clearly stating in the email that I wanted a mid-size print, he printed a larger size and charged me double the price ($70). Great service, but very crowded. even crazy during exam time, as this locale is just across from Concordia University, and the students from there REALLY pack the place. I tend to come here everytime I need to get a bundle of copies done, mainly during tax,final exam time, (for students), hence the craziness. Staff, if not busy,is more than ready and willing,able, to help, will even make copies for you for a minimum of $3.00, and even provide shredding (small pkg, please) for a nominal fee. You can even consult their bank of computers if you have to do a quick check, but since so, many would just go & surf the net, there is now a charge to do so. It's a walk-down shop that is open from 8-21 during the week, which is EXTREMELY useful and is located a block away from Concordia. Today I went there to get copy of my Cards, the woman who stands there was so impolite , she was do nervous and when I asked her help she was freaked out and behave in a bad manner! I used to love this place, honestly whenever I had a project I would go there and print, the employees were dedicated, passionate courteous and friendly and they had wonderful personality that attracted a lot of clients to want to print with their store. But recently when management changed, and the friendly employees left but the service did not remain. It was quite unprofessional the attitude, the tone of voice used towards their clients. Partially treated with discrimination, people of color who were ordering projects were treated a certain way whereas people who they favored were treated a certain way. I have no issue with the manager and the older employees as they are still friendly and courteous, but the young man who is always there is quite rude and unfriendly. He makes me uncomfortable as a client. I am not the type to write reviews like ever usually to give a chance for a business, but ouff I highly don't recommend if you are an artist, student or regular customers. I trusted them to have my business cards done on time for a very important recruitment cocktail. Emailed them an image of exactly how i want the template to be, with a few specifications that i clearly drew on a piece of paper, as well as explain to the worker each specifications. After confirming with the worker if everything was clear, whether it's possible to have it delivered on time, i even told them to call me if they had any other inquiries about the template. Story short, they sent me an image of the template that is completely different from what I asked. Not only that, since it took longer than expected, they said they would have to charge me 80$ for the "designing" of the template instead of 40$, the quoted price i was given. And the best part? They dropped my order without notifying me ! I had to follow up with them to find this out. They knew the importance of those business cards to me. Busy place, no frills, not sure everything is a deal but some things are (pretty good business card prices depending on the paper and quantity you choose). I need to feel the paper before i order, so online printing for business cards does not work for me. Only thing they didn't do was call me when the job was done, but hey, I own a phone, so no problem really. Great location, hours and service, so long as you don't expect perky hop-to-it staff. Avoid this place at all costs. Either print at Concordia, Copies Jolies, or Rubiks, which are all close by. Although the staff is generally nice, one guy is completely out of his mind. He wasn't able to print my poster properly and when I showed him the problem with the poster, he accused me of changing my file and of lying. If you're a Concordia student, printing there is way more expensive then printing at Concordia. read more
