They misrepresented a copier as "brand new, out of the box" when the actual machine had been rebuilt, the copier count erased, after market parts, and it never worked. Decklan and Khaled always had an excuse, we ended up suing them, Decklan was "out of the country," Dan whined about the "small businessman always getting screwed," and the temporary Judge let them get away with completely screwing us over. We had two techs verify that we got scammed, many other exhibits proving their wrongdoing, and lost. It is very simple - I ordered and paid in full for the Toshiba Studio. They delivered it and assured me that the machine is only 130k prints and in perfect condition. On day one, it was not able to print greys and fonts clearly. I contacted them; they hired a local tech who, after inspection, said two things: 1. It is not a 130k meter machine, and the meter was tampered with, and 2. It has an issue that will require an expensive repair. I have been on a tag call for over 6 months, only to be dropped, and at the end, rudely cursed out and asked me not to call again. I hate leaving negative reviews, but this is what happened to me. They could have send me a working machine or simply take it back for a full refund. I was willing to buy another printer. All I needed was a working printer that could print clear contracts and be functional for light daily use. read more

I'd give them 0 stars if I could. We were clients from 2017 through 2022. They were always completely disorganized and took weeks to send service techs despite us having a service contract. In May 2023 - 11 months after we cancelled our contract - we received an invoice for having 97,000 copies over our allotted monthly amount. We replied to their email informing them that we hadn't been a customer for nearly a year - received no response. A week later we received the invoice again - we again replied to their email informing them that we hadn't been a customer for nearly a year - again we received no response. 2 weeks ago we were contacted by a debt collector (who was aggressive and rude and used intimidation tactics). I ordered and paid for a Konica Bizhub machine from them. It was never delivered. The first excuse was scheduling, then a hurricane (although we had no hurricane here) and finally the trick broke down. After weeks oftryig to get the machine delivered, I finally was able to reach the owner, Dan Fischer. He was rude and beligerant. He promised me a immediate full refund. Guess what? after many inquiries and excuses, with statements that it was going to be mailed, that refund never came. I started by filing a BBB complaint, a complaint with the Maryland Attorney General Consumer Fraud Department, also with the Florida General Consumer Fraud Department and a request for Visa to refund the money. My next step is to file a police report for theft, followed by a lawsuit here in Florida against the entity Copier1 and the individuals I dealt with seeking treble damages for fraud and the cost increase to acquire a similar machine. All of this could have been avoided, had the owner been reaonable and not rude. Now we will see what happens, as I coneinue to take the steps I told them I would be taking when they decided to keep my money and not deliver the machine. read more

These guys are terrible. Anytime we have any kind of tech support or maintenance issue or question, it takes weeks and so much hounding via phone, email, etc. just to get some sort of response. We were promised top notch customer service and tech support and, once the purchase was over, these guys act like we're annoying them when we call for basic tech support and questions about the machine. Oh! They also force you to buy their overpriced ink or you'll "void your warranty". They may seem like they have some deals and great pricing, but just remember you get what you pay for. read more

Only gave them 1 star because there is no negative rating! I purchased a copier on Sept 26th. They told me the equipment would ship that week or the next week. Week later no info no call, no delivery. I called them again and they told me that the person who placed my order quit and things got fouled up. they would upgrade me for free and (something I didnt ask for) and that it would shit THIS WEEK! Again, no info, no tracking, no call, no delivery. SO today I hoped on the webpage and chat asked where my printer was and considering it's been 3 weeks I need firm tracking and delivery. The person on the chat - supposed customer service - told me not to yell at her and made fun of me because I typed Nov instead of Oct. for the month. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND SEND YOU A PIECE OF CRAP MACHINE!!! I purchased a copier with Copier 1, upon receiving the copier it was left outside in 107 degree weather, I was not aware that they copier had even arrived. There was not a knock or call. No tracking information was given. I called the company to let them know that it was sitting outside in said weather and that I would try and scoot it to my garage as I work out of my home to get it out of the heat. They had to call a second moving company to get move it to the office and out of my garage. Upon looking at it, I noticed that the whole top of the copier was melted and warped. I called Copier 1 to let them know and sent in photos and they assured me that they would send a new top, they also had a technician come out to set it up (the top they sent was the wrong one). A couple of days later the copier started having issues (fatal internal errors). There were moths coming out of the machine and it was not working again. I called in to have another technician come out and fix it again. After two weeks of having it I was only able to maybe use it for 10 copies. The copier again had another error code of 970 which is an electrical error. I called again and asked for a refund, the gentleman on the other end started calling me names and telling me that I was an imbecile and much worse (so much more came out of his mouth) that he was the owner of the company and good luck with getting a refund and sending the copier back then hung up on me. I called back and talked with Josh at extension 109. I told him what had just happened and assured me that that was in fact not the owner and he would be taken care of (whether he was or not I do not know). The same technician came out and tried to fix it again. the next day I got the same error code. I have repeatedly called and asked for a refund and for them at the least they could do is ship the copier back to their warehouse. Now no one will call me back. I have spent $3,700.00 on a copier that does not work. plus the cost of shipping it back, $1000! read more

Do not use this dealer. They asked us to service a customer for them and then never paid us. Its been close to a year now of trying to get a response from them. Their "President" even emailed us saying he'd take care of it, and then never responded again. We are planning on taking them to collections soon. I would like to express my deepest gratitude for the service that Brandon Hajduga gives me every time I call. I have been dealing with him for almost 2 years if not longer. I can call him and his prompt response has always been so appreciated. Customer service and attitude is always present with a warm response. If you had training with how to deal with people and have them come back he would be the man. He is definitely a keeper. If he does not know the answer or is busy he tactfully lets you know but gets back to you at his earliest convenience ready to serve. This has got to be the worst experience ever! the "new" machine we got was refurbished for one. there was nothing refurbished about this machine at all. it is in worse condition than our outdated machine we worked a deal with them for. the day we got our machine we were unhappy and all of the sudden the owner Dan was on vacation. he is still gone supposedly cause we can not get a reply. we wanted our old machine back and them to take this one. they refused that. they have not been able to get our machine working. they don't respond to emails or calls. i would highly suggest you do not purchase a thing from this company. they are miss leading and provide the worst products!!!!!!!!!! they sent parts to shut us up and guess what the parts were used!!! the tech that came out states hes had many of the same complaints about this company. spend your money else where! they wont even honor the return or any policies they have posted on their site. read more

Copier 1 sold me a copier that they said would have less than 50,000 copies on it ( I have emails direct from Dan, the owner to prove it). When the copier arrived it had 175,000 copies. The driver left before I discovered it. When I reported this, the owner said this copier is proven and it will be better than one with less than 50,000 copies. I said I would rather have the 50, 000 machine and Dan refused to make the change. Dan answers to no one and no one else is willing to get involved unless told to by Dan. There is no recourse. DO NOT BUY A COPIER FROM THIS COMPANY!!! If you still decide to buy from them, do not let the delivery driver leave until you have gone through the machine completely, including the number of copies on the machine. They sell you a furbished commercial printer and then it malfunctions at least every other week. When you call to make a service call, it takes them days if not weeks to come to your office. When you call to make a point and place a dispute cause the printer finally stops functioning, you are told that it is because of the printer you purchased and that you pay for what you get. Unbelievable. They are rude to the core. Kelly was always busy, rude and never helpful. They could care less on what inconveniences you were facing. My experience with Copier1 has been anything but pleasant. Our office contacted their company for a quote for a copy machine and their maintenance service. Their prices were fair and they negotiated with us to a comfortable amount... and then it was all downhill from there! We were hounded by their "Customer Service Manager" to sign a contract with them right away and to take our initial payment. She called the office numerous times, sent emails, even somehow got the owner of the company's cell phone number and started harassing him! All that aside, we proceeded with the order and they had their machine delivered. The day we were told that the machine was coming, they gave us no tracking information, so I contacted the delivery company. I gave the nice lady at the delivery company the serial number listed on the contract, and guess what??? It was the wrong one! She figured it out and gave me the correct information. I then called our "Customer Service Manager" to let her know our contract was incorrect because it had the incorrect serial number for the machine listed. Her response.... "oh, I must have put in the wrong number. Whoops!" Now it has been 5 days since we received the machine and it hasn't been working correctly since the first day it was setup. Of course, no service technician is in our area so there is nothing they can do. And even better, now they are ignoring our calls. When I say I would not refer anyone to this company... I am politely saying STAY FAR AWAY from this company. And now to try to get a refund.... I'm sure my review will be updated again soon! read more

I was told by Sara Lee that they would sell me a Refurbished Toshiba estudio 5540c copier with a book finisher for $3384. I also signed up for a maintenance agreement: for $199 a month I would get 2000 black and 2000 color copies and I would pay .0079 cents each for b/w copies and .045 cents for color copies. I sent her a file to print to show me what the output would look like. The output was perfect. I sent them the payment and about a month later they delivered the copier. It never printed very well. The copies are muddy looking and dark; not at all like the printout I was sent. I called asking for service and I have received none. I have now paid for the maintenance agreement for two months and received nothing but stalling tactics. I would think that a refurbished copier should work pretty close to new when you recieve it. At the very least it should print like the copies I was sent by their sales person. Under the maintenance agreement they are supposed to provide maintenance for the copier and all supplies including toner and parts to keep the copier running. There is also a warrantee covering parts and service for five years. At this point the copier is useless to me. I am not going to pay for the maintenance agreement any longer and I feel like I have been ripped off. The best outcome at this time would be for Copier1 to provide the service they promised and honor the maintenance agreement for which I have been paying for two months. The second best outcome would be for copier1 to purchase the copier back from me or trade it for one that works. read more

Excellent customer support; prior to purchasing, I was greatly concerned that the machine would be a dud or not be what was promised. Instead, the machine was delivered timely, in fantastic shape; indeed it looked brand new. After a minor hiccup of not knowing where the main switch was, the machine worked great. Customer service was beyond phenomenal; they hooked up all my users, set up our networking on the machine, set up each profile for the multiple users for scanning and did everything I required for our busy legal practice remotely. All in all, very satisfied with the purchase and would purchase from them again. Dan, the President, Kelly our sales rep, and Brandon at technical support were simply excellent in communications, the pricing and delivery of our new (to us) copier. These guys rock. I don't know why others on Yelp had a problem with this company, but our experience was/is excellent. We also purchased the premium support plan monthly, and again, no issues with any support so far! Dan runs a tight ship and really cares about his customers -- far more than your average copier dealer AND his prices blow the average authorized dealer out of the park, yet his service and product is far superior to any discount copier wholesaler out there. So his company is that rare anomaly: ACTUALLY discount product and service, that is top notch in quality. I know because he has utilized our Fiery connectivity services, controller repair and controller customization for several of his customers that I KNOW he gave wholesale pricing yet gave these customers our premium services at that same discount pricing. For example, we supply that same exact 3rd tier premium service to Xerox locally, Canon authorized dealers as well as Konica Minolta authorized dealers, and you don't even want to know how much they mark up out Fiery-DIRECT services. Dan's pricing to his customers is FAR FAR less with great copier servicing to match our Fiery-DIRECT service. I've never heard any of his customers complain about his service or product. read more
