I love this place. I am biased because I have been going here my whole life, but since the…read morerenovation it's absolutely amazing. Clean, bright, beautiful architecture. When I was in college and came home on break or for a weekend, I would do homework here, and now I apply for jobs online here. The wifi is good, and there are lots of comfy chairs. If you don't want a comfy chair (I work better at a table), there are a few tables downstairs, as well as two conference rooms upstairs that are usually empty. The children's section is huge and seems like it would be really fun for the wee ones. They also have a room just for teenagers (I think 13-19?) to hang out in. I don't check things out often, but I do like that you can request things from other libraries at home from your own computer, and then they will call you when it's in! And if you can't come in to pick it up right away, they actually hold it for you for quite a while. They have free movies once a week (usually artsy or have been out for a year) as well as exhibits in the folklife center. There is a vending machine with water and drinks in it, and there are multiple cafes (Coffee Planet, North Country Cafe, and of course Rock Hill) and a Stewart's all within a 5 minute walk.

The help that works there is extremely nice and they go out of their way to find something for you…read more Another thing they are always having things going on like last night they had a movie they're always thinking of something to keep people busy with and they extremely care about children activities.

Had an absolutely wonderful experience at Adirondack Winery in Queensbury, NY! The atmosphere was…read morerelaxed and inviting, and the wines were fantastic. What really made the visit special, though, was the staff. Amber, Paige, and Cassie were all incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel so welcome. It was actually Cassie's first day, and she handled everything with such confidence and warmth--you'd never have known! She was awesome. Huge shout-out to the whole team for making our visit so memorable. We'll definitely be back!

Recently visited and my first impression as I got out of the car was wow! I loved that they're…read morestarting to grow grapes and appreciate the educational signage. The tasting room is beautiful, clean, and there is a ton of bar seating as well as tables, and more tables outside. Upon walking in, there's a sign to wait for the hostess to seat you. Since we came for a tasting, we were seated at the bar. We looked forward to the standard tasting (7, 3/4 oz pours), but found out once we were seated that they weren't doing those that day because they were busier earlier in the day. Instead, they offered us a flight (4, 2oz pours) for $15. However the glasses didn't have lines on them and the pours we got were significantly less than the couple next to us who were served by a different person. As far as the wines, they had a variety of sweet and dry, red and white, but I didn't find any that I loved. If I lived in the area I would definitely come back for the atmosphere, since this seems like a great space for events, or with friends since they have a large selection of wines. I also felt like the staff were helpful and friendly too.
