Barbizon is absolutely a scam. Well maybe not a scam but just barley. You do go to classes and get…read morestuff but it's garbage and not what you think it will be. They give you basic instructions that most children will already know with exception of some makeup and walking skills. They don't care about your kids and are just running a BS class and with what appears to be uninterested teachers. In the one class we went to two teachers just flat didn't show up so there is one lady screaming at a room full of kids because she can't control them. Also they will not refund your money if you try to cancel after a class. There is simply no one to get ahold of. Everyone disappears. We even sent certified letter to the HQ in Tampa. Nothing. If you want your kid to get into modeling this is not the way.

Since then, due to school demands and preparing for college, her goals have changed as well as her responsibilities for preparing for SAT's AP classes and colleges applications. She is no longer interested in participating. I was told that if I pay an additional $175 that she could be placed in another competition for the following year. However, my daughter is not interested at all. So, I requested that my money be refunded to me, especially when it's a large sum of money that will not be utilized and I have my own health issues that need to be paid for. I told the Barbizon representative, Jamie Mannella, and pleaded with her to refund the money and explained the circumstances that I just mentioned above. She said that it could not be refunded. So, basically, what I'm here to tell all of you interested in participating is that you MUST make sure that this is what you or your child really wants before committing to pay a large sum of money. Because, they are not willing to work with you except to force your child to participate in a competition that they clearly will not do well in, because they are being forced to do it and have no interest. If Barbizon and Passport to Discovery "Really" cared about your child and their success, they would not be so un compassionate and rigid about refunding money to a family that has stated that there is no interest from the child and forcing them to pay for something that could be used toward our health bills that are currently taking precedence during these trying times in our world. Please just be sure that you and your child are convinced that this is what you want. Otherwise, you will be treated with the same unwillingness to help me and lack of empathy from the representatives. Lawanna Gough

The idea of ear plugs for his sensitive ears. Picking out songs he likes so he can learn them with other kids. His teacher is great! And he is really enjoying it! The lessons are twice a week so it keeps drumming in his head. It feels like he is on his way to be in a kid band instead of stuck in a sound proof room playing patterns. We are very happy with the whole experience. The office manager is professional, smart and well organized. The teachers are talented and good to the kids. We will be here for a while! I look forward to my son's concerts in the future! PS - we have been to several concerts performed by a plethora of students. Very cool. Great experience!!

I don't understand this place. I got an initial call back to discuss how the place works, but then…read morescheduling a trial lesson was like pulling teeth-- calling, emailing, finally texting. Took forever. Got to the trial lesson only to be told the person we'd worked so hard to get wasn't available so it's with so-and-so. Uh. Fine, but we picked the other person for a reason. And booked another trial with the original teacher, only to get to THAT lesson and realize it's still not the instructor we'd been aiming for. While sitting during the lesson, another student walked in and was told "oh so-and-so is no longer with us so this other person will be your teacher today." What? So you're not told ahead of time? (The mom asked when they'd known this teacher was leaving and it was two weeks prior, but they didn't bother to give anyone notice.) I find it strange that you pay in advance for these situations. Anyway. It's too poorly managed for me, which is too bad because it is certainly a great concept.

I normally don't leave reviews, but I believe it's important to share my experience with Ziyotek BootCamp so others can make informed decisions. I enrolled in their AWS Cloud Engineering program with high hopes, but unfortunately, the experience was far from what I expected. One of the biggest concerns is that **Ziyotek's diploma is not accredited**, which I only realized after completing the program. This means **many reputable companies do not recognize or accept the diploma**, and it carries very little weight in the real job market, especially if you're new to IT. If you're not already working in tech or don't have a strong network, this program will likely not open doors for you. I was hoping it would help me make a meaningful career shift, but instead, I found myself having to self-study much of the content and invest more time and money elsewhere to become job-ready. **The tuition is extremely high** for what you get. Honestly, for the same cost (or even less), you could go to an **accredited community college or university**, earn a proper degree, and gain access to internships, career support, and financial aid. The return on investment with Ziyotek just isn't there. Also, the **teaching quality was disappointing**. While some instructors seemed knowledgeable, many were unprofessional, unprepared, and lacked basic teaching skills. There was little to no structured support, and the curriculum felt rushed and disorganized. It often felt like a money-making operation rather than a legitimate educational institution. Overall, I regret spending my time and money here. I wish I had done more research or spoken to former students before enrolling. If you're considering Ziyotek, I strongly suggest weighing your options and considering **more reputable, accredited programs** that offer true value and career opportunities.

Price wise, it's unbeatable in this area. As far as what the price gets you...well a student edition that's slower and therefore abridged. There's a lot they simply don't have time for as the student tries to rush through everything in about 45minutes. The first time takes longer as there's a review of your intake forms, and a discussion on what products to use during this facial. After cleansing, an instructor comes in to check your skin and advise the student on what to do and what products to use. I found this process useful for determining what products I should and should not use. I came back and scheduled with the same student just to get an idea of how much my skin might've improved after following the instructors advice. Very useful. They student double cleanses while streaming your skin. There's always makeup removal even though I've tried telling them I have permanent makeup and no additional makeup on. I really wished they would add this to their chart so we can just skip all this "makeup removal" when no makeup is worn. Anyway, after double cleansing there's an inspection, in my case exfoliation, a mask, and then some treatment as necessary. I assume not everyone has the same treatment as we have different issues to address. Overall the rooms and tables are comfortable. They play pleasant music. It's meant to be a relaxing spa experience. However, as they don't have any lymphatic massage included, or bring any of the facial down to your neck/chest, it really feels a little j complete. There's also not been any extraction even though estheticians usually would extract.

Her level of knowledge with problem/acne skin has impressed me. As someone who has tried almost everything in the industry and visited countless dermatologists for years to treat my face, I've never been treated with such great attention to my skin and such a personalized action plan. She has been working to lighten my hyperpigmentation and I already see great improvement. I've done regular facials, chemical peels, and microdermabrasion. Now that my hyperpigmentation has been improving, I hopped over to their location next door (the Esthetic Laser Clinic, not to be confused with Esthetic Institute-where the students are) and got microneedling (Skinpen) done. I am excited to see the results. The Esthetic Laser clinic is the real deal and it is not done by students. Pricing for the Esthetic Institute is wonderful, especially for this area where everything seems to be on the higher end. I'm sad to be moving from the area soon but I know that anytime I'm back in town, a trip to the esthetic Institute will be on my list!
