There are two with truffle but get the hard truffle cheese. We devoured it. So, pick up a baguette, some jam, fruit from the shop next door and a bottle to treat yourself to a lovely picnic in the garden.

They were each carefully displayed, perfectly ripened and delicious. Unfortunately, I do not know the proper names of the cheeses as our charming tour guide Ella selected them but our top three favorite were the brie with truffles, a cows milk cheese (it is square and and has a light orange rind) that was washed with beer, and a sheeps milk cheese (a grey cylinder) with ash on the exterior. I do not believe the man who helped us spoke English if that is important to you, but I find with my few words of French, a translation app and pointing I can manage just about anything.

It also came with a basket of the best bread we have had since arriving in France. What is awesome about this place is the owner, Matthieu. He was so nice and explained the cheese, the type, and where it came from. Of the 14, we liked about 10 or 11, a couple were a bit strong, and one of them was so strong we could not do it. But it was an awesome experience and great cheese. You must try this for the Fromage experience. Thank you. If you are local, this guy should be your cheese guy. Awesome.

We let Pierre do the ordering and he didn't disappoint. I am not a huge cheese connoisseur, but I do enjoy the ones I like thoroughly! And, delicious sourdough bread to go along with it, yes please! They ordered wine and I ordered a Stella beer. The different cheeses were great, for the most part for me lol And we couldn't stop eating the bread! The waiter spoke English and was knowledgeable. Service was a tiny bit slow, as we were the only customers outside. However, I think in this city, that's how it usually is. People sit and take their time, which we did, but we also needed more bread! :) Definitely recommend this place! But beware, there was also a young child that kept coming up to our table asking for our food, with an adult standing nearby waiting for her as she went table to table. The sadness and questions of this child did take away a bit of our nice experience :(

Not only is the small shop packed to the brim with glorious cheeses of all varieties (my favorite right now is a smoky Basque brebis that I've used in salads, sandwiches and in a fantastic vegetarian meatball dish that I've been rocking lately) they also have a stellar selection of dairy items. From Ribot lait fermenté and homemade crème fraiche to tart, smooth yogurt and a range of glass-jarred desserts that makes a fabulous finish to a dinner party since you can propose a different flavor for each guest (the panna cotta and rice pudding with salted caramel sauce are divine), this place has all of your dairy cravings covered. Plus I love the hilarious floppy black traditional Normand hats that the salespeople wear.

What more could one ask for?! You'll be greeted with a little bowl of olives. Thumbs up. Beer: The beer wall features thirty-something bottles of craft beer, arranged ever so nicely (prices between 3,50€-6€ a bottle, not bad!). They are ALL available chilled, so stroll in front of the shelving for a little while and then let the guys know what you'd like. On the menu: they've got tartines (7€-9€), meat platters and cheese options. Honestly not the easiest place for vegetarians but for those who eat meat (pork) it's a field day. We went with the Spanish meat platter (huge, for like 14€), and we added the cheese supplement for 7€. The planches are also served with Spanish style tomato sauce, to add on your bread and such. Delicious and so huge we didn't even finish it. They also do various hot foods that the publicize on social media and such. It was honestly so delicious. The space: simple and charming. A specialty deli feel with a chalk board with lists of bottled beers by type on the wall, just rad. They've even got a diagram of a pig stating the locations of the different charcuterie. Beautiful tiling on the floor. Seating for about 20, with tables for 2 & 4. Calm but good music playing. I honestly am stoked to go back here more often. Wonderful place to go with friends who enjoy beer & quality Spanish charcuterie.
