I had a 17 year-old cat that had to be euthanized in 2011 and an 18 year-old cat who needed the same last week. In both cases he was kind and patient while I agonized over the final decision. He always replied promptly and was willing to discuss at length all options, not to mention putting up with my indecisiveness. While staff come and go I can never recall any of them who were not friendly or insincere about their love for animals.

My baby was in so much pain, gaining weight in his stomach, so much it was showing his spine, they told me he has liquid in his stomach with a little wire in there as well, they said he needed surgery or else he wouldn't make it. They said "there's only one doctor and no openings for the rest of the day" So tell me why they couldn't make the time in their day to do surgery on my baby boy, is it because I didn't have $1,400 right then? Well I had it when I came and picked him up. We were there from 11 in the morning to around 3 in the afternoon, they kept him there on some medicine until 5:45. In the next hour of my baby boy leaving, he passed away... after spending 630$ on the bill just for him to pass away.

Called actual Petco to see if they had any eye drops for pink eye and sent me to VetCo, which I didn't even know existed. The front desk lady, Tricia said could literally get me in right away. I explained my dog was a pit bull ( people are afraid of and sometimes won't see) and no problems with that, he's 12 and a old big baby. Provided a leash for me since he's not leash trained. Got him in promptly and did the exam on my boy and not the answers I wanted thinking it was pink eye but in fact a stroke. Me waterworks going the vet was nice an attentive but was straight and honest and relieved me that he wasn't in pain. The staff is amazing and did a fantastic job! I highly recommend them for any sudden or abrupt things that happen with your pets. I want to say thank you for y'all for being so kind and honest with me and with Bonzo.

With "Animal Hospital" included in the business name, it's a fair assumption they would have a…read moreveterinarian either on the premises or on call during business hours. That is NOT the case here. They do not have a doctor there to service walk ins, even though the doors are open and it's clearly labeled an animal hospital. Strange, right? I was greeted by a very rude lady with dark curly hair at the desk. She told me to go somewhere else because she was the only staff there and just a tech and they just did shots. They don't have a doctor. I told her their online presence is very misleading. She said I should've called ahead. Tell me why I have to call ahead to verify an animal hospital has a doctor? That's like calling a human hospital to verify they have a doctor or if it's just receptionist running the place. Make it make some sort of sense. If this place is just a shots clinic, then the online presence and the name need to accurately reflect that. What is out there currently is considered false advertising. Please correct this so no one else will waste their time like I did.
