This place is basically a wine tasting room first, and then a full bar and a restaurant. The wines they serve here are basically sourced from juice around the country/world and put together at a central facility in Illinois. Personally, I prefer estate grown and bottled wines from their corresponding appellations, not a central processing facility. It's also likely your waiter is probably gonna make a pitch for you to join the wine club. We came here for the food and to try some of the wine with the dinners. Sitting down then looking at the menu and seeing the prices, my expectations definitely went up. Our very attentive waiter Rory recommended some drink choices and set down a complimentary warm loaf of bread. We started with the sweet chili calamari. It was a very large battered portion coated in a thick Ponzu glaze that was perfectly cooked. I got the prime rib sandwich with a side salad and my guests had the Napa chicken salad and gnocchi. The prime rib had some good medium rare sliced beef, but the aus jus was oddly sweet and it was not something I'd order again. The Napa chicken salad was nothing real special and the chicken was as cold as the refrigerator it came from. As someone who works in the wine business, the sparkling brut and Pinot Noir were hardly worth the price. We all agreed the food was a little underwhelming for the price. Great atmosphere and service but the food and wine doesn't live up to the price point. If everything was half the price, I'd be back. 10 informative photos for your consideration.

amazing experience! Servers were so kind, food was quick, atmosphere was clean! A bit on the more expensive side but great for a celebration. Dim lighting so consider that if you are hard of vision.

Had brunch on Saturday. The service was a bit slow. The food was excellent. I started with a Coopers Hawk Bloody Mary. It comes with a skewer that includes andouille sausage, cheese, shrimp, cucumber and olive with a beer chaser. I recommend you order it. For brunch we had the smoked brisket hash which comes with two sunny side up eggs and breakfast potatoes and the canoed bacon BLT which also comes with potatoes. Both were excellent and big enough to share. This is my new favorite brunch spot.

Came in on a Saturday night for some drinks and apps. Sat at the bar and had friendly and prompt service. Had the peach sangria and it was so good and refreshing. For apps, we ordered the meatballs and bruschetta, both were delicious! I've never had a bad dish here and really enjoy the atmosphere.

Great service from Samri. She's fun, friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. We tasted the January wine of the month, and it was so good we decided to get a bottle. I tried the braised short ribs for the first time. They were really flavorful and tender.

I took out lunch from here. This place seems to be an upscale place. Except for me, everybody looked expensive. Lunch Dana's Parmesan crusted chicken was my favorite item. Chicken was crispy and flavorful. Barbecue brisket sandwich was a good one as well. Potato gratin was flavorful.

Great service, cool interior, love the outdoor seating once it gets warmer out. The lunch sized salmon was the perfect portion. I would get a side next time. The potatoes and spinach are minimal but so good. We got the chocolate hazelnut ganache cake to share. Wow! Moist and perfection.

I was blown away by this Cooper's hawk location! Visiting from Jacksonville, FL and took a client out who had never been to CH before and was super impressed with the lobby area and layout of this location. The wines are all on display, the store of knickknacks is huge and enticing and their tasting bar is also large and welcoming. Our server was kind and attentive, food came out quickly and was hot and fresh and my client left happy. We didn't get pretzel bread even after asking so that's my only mention but otherwise, great!

We made a reservation for a booth for 12:30. When we arrived, we were told to wait in the wine bar / shop area, but given no time estimate on how long it would take. It seemed like we were a burden to the 3! staff members working the check in desk. I'm sure they wanted us to buy things and try a wine tasting but that was never mentioned. After about ten minutes they asked if we would be willing to switch to a high top. We should have said no... as we had awful service sitting there. It was like we were invisible even though we were seated in the middle of the restaurant. Our server did come quickly to start, and my husband ordered a glass of wine. I asked for a minute to look at the full wine list before making my decision. It took about ten minutes for him to come back this time as well, to our surprise with no wine for my husband. It took him so long to come back that I had decided what wine I wanted, and we had decided on all of the food we wanted including appetizers and entrees. I ordered the red wine flight and we ordered the seafood bisque, a Caesar salad, calamari, and the special wild mushroom flatbread pizza. A different person brought over my wine flight about another ten minutes later. It's interesting because it actually features a Spanish wine as one of the options. You'd think they would have a flight with only their wines on it. Then our food started coming, delivered by runners and not our waiter. My husband still did not have his glass of wine that he ordered right as we were sat down. Our waters were also empty at this point and were the majority of our meal since they were full of ice and only had a small bit of water able to fit in the glass. Plus, our waiter was barely ever visible. We also had to ask for water every single time our glasses were empty, which was a lot with all the ice. The food was okay. The soup tasted great but was too thick. The Caesar salad tasted excellent but had too much dressing. The calamari had great flavors but was chewy and the breading was awful. My husband refused to even eat them. The special wild mushroom flatbread pizza tasted great but had very few mushrooms on it and most of them were button mushrooms. His wine was finally delivered in the middle of our meal when we were finally able to ask for more water. We should have asked for two more water glasses so we didn't run out as often. We finished everything but the calamari, checked out, and went to the wine bar / shop area to buy one of the truffles in the case there. Again, it took a while for someone to help us check out and we felt like a burden to even ask for the truffle. I really really wanted to enjoy our experience based on other reviews but the staff we encountered were so unpleasant and inattentive plus for the price the food was just average. I'm not sure I'd ever want to come back here again, unless it was for a wine tasting or something as the wine was actually good. Hopefully you have a better experience than we did.

This was a really hard place to rate. I think the service staff who attended to us was excellent. And so that is a 4 star. But some of the staff sorta gave us an odd look and it makes me want to lower it a star. I felt very uncomfortable. I came in with my colleague on a Wednesday night around 8pm. The menu is varied and was pretty interesting. Tons of things that sounded really good. I ended up with the surf and turf which was a solid option. The pistachios crusted grouper was delicious. I peered it with a local beer. My colleague with a mushroom risotto which she thought was average. When you walk in, you can stay in the wine bar area or you can go sit in the dining room. There's a Wine O'Clock Happy Hour including 5 appetizers and wines by the glass. That's Monday - Friday 3:00pm- 5:30pm You can also come during Brunch & Bubbles which is on Saturday & Sunday 10:00am - 2:00pm. If none of that interests you. You can come and simply buy a bottle of wine. Parking is great. It's also walkable. It's located in a plaza and outside of the plaza is a strip stores. Super accessible.

Roasted Vegetable & Goat Cheese Flatbread

Had a phenomenal brunch yesterday! We did our monthly wine tasting since we are one club members. The selections were great and the service was awesome. We also had a lovely brunch in our server was awesome. My husband had the brisket hash, and I ended up having the roasted vegetable and goat cheese flatbread. We received our items in a timely manner and they were delicious. The monthly dessert lemon butter cake with blueberries is a delight. Very cool vibe as always.

Staff were a bit rushed/rude but pizza was good. A touch too much garlic for me but overall very good.

I wish this place was closer to Madison!…read more Stumbled upon this gem while meeting some friends in Lodi for dinner on a Friday night. As soon as we sat down, the owner (Kathy) was there and asked us what kind of wine we liked. I told her cabs; the hubs, whites. I've never been to any wine establishment that took such time and lengths to ensure you had the greatest experience. If you're anywhere near the Lodi area, go visit Kathy and Mark. We were also able to play our own music, which was a lot of fun for the group.
