Extra Scallops
Meghin D.

Overall, i really wasn't impressed. Made reservations for my mom's birthday. It was a party of 4 of us, we ordered an app, my mom had a glass of wine. We had to ask for bread, our food took an hour and 8 mins from ordering to be served. The manager came and apologized and said it was the risotto that was taking so long. Our food finally came out, and my mom only saw one scallop in the risotto, so she asked and the server said he would get her an extra order.. she found another in the risotto hidden under the risotto. The picture attached is the "extra" scallops for the dish. The parmesan crusted mahi mahi had great flavor, but it was very overcooked? Gladly it was served with lemon because it was very dry. The bettys potatoes were delicious. The pretzel crusted pork chop and the pretzel coating had a good crunch, but needed more of the broccolini to cut the sweetness of the crust, or something, it was just missing maybe some salt? It was decent, but nothing to write home about. Overall the best dish of the night was the burrata tomato bruschetta. Our waiter did keep our drinks full, but was very hit or miss with the service, It was decent loud for it to be an upscale type restaurant. Overall I'm bot sure if we will be back, it wasn't something I would be proud to take others too.

Came back and had an amazing time!!!! Food blew me (and my family who were first timers) away! Everything was piping hot, our server was soooo nice, I think her name was Taylor. We came around 3:30 pm on a Friday and it wasn't very busy but we caught happy hour. I will say their lemonades were EXTREMELY tart to us, so if you like yours sweet you may want to choose another option to drink. However I will always come back!

Do not go here if you expect any sort of acknowledgement or attention. We sat at the sit-down bar (they have another bar without chairs by the entrance) for over 30 minutes and never saw a server/bartender greet us or provide menus. It's packed and the "winning team" corporate typically brings in to open a new shop is in pitiful shape. This place is a waste of your time.

We saw construction on this restaurant go up pretty quickly, but was happy to finally try it out. Luckily the restaurant takes reservations because on a Friday afternoon, it was pretty packed. The restaurant itself is very pretty and decorated nicely. It is a nice size with decent lighting and has a welcoming atmosphere. It also has outside seating. When you first walk in, we noticed a large crowd doing wine tastings and later found out through our lovely waitress Jamie, that they offer wine tastings and a wine club that you could join. There are different levels and each level has a different price. As far as food, they have a good sized menu so I am sure everyone will be able to find something they like. For appetizers, we ordered the chicken potstickers and the Italian sausage flatbread with whipped burrata. Both dishes were served hot and were seasoned pretty good. For dinner, we ordered crab, shrimp, & lobster bisque, which was really delicious and had nice sized chunks of meat. In addition, we ordered the baked Parmesan shrimp scampi and Dana's Parmesan crusted chicken with green beans. Both dishes were delicious and well proportioned. We were so stuffed from the appetizers and our dinner that we didn't have any room left to try their desserts. So definitely will have to try that out next time along with their wine tastings. Lastly, it appears that they do have a decent happy hour menu with discounted food and drinks so will definitely have to come back and try that as well. All in all, great visit and will definitely be back to try other items on the menu.

This restaurant has only been open for a month and such a great addition to Madison. When you first enter the restaurant, you see the wine tasting bar and gift shop area. There are so many wines to choose from for the tasting. You can select red, white or international tastings. The samples they serve you are larger than most and you try 8 different wines. Great price too... $14 for 8 glasses. We actually came in for brunch and just want to say that the service was above and beyond. Tyler took time to get to know his customer's likes and brought us out a few glasses of wine that he thought we may like. We all enjoyed the selections he chose for each of us. Now the food... Everything was scratch made and absolutely fantastic. The steak and eggs with shrimp Oscar was superb. Scrambled eggs were light, the potatoes were cooked just right and the steak was delicious, not dried out. We had nothing but positive reviews for this brunch. We are already talking about going back next month... Just wish it were a little closer.

Food is all made from scratch, wine is a collection from around the world and it's got such an upbeat vibe. Waiter, Tyler was the best!

The service and ambiance was excellent when going. I have gone twice and each time have been overly impressed with how easy and welcoming the experience has been. The first time I had a reservation and was seated within 5 minutes, this was the weekend after opening weekend. Our server was knowledgeable and had many great recommendations, which led us to the egg rolls ! HIGHLY worth !!! The second time was an impromptu girls night on a Saturday around 7:30. We were quoted a 35 minute wait, and only waited maybe 10 minutes max. The food has been flavorful each and every time, and everyone has been so attentive and helpful. The only complaint I have, is the restaurant can get quite loud when full. Will definitely be going back !

Outstanding food-drinks and services. Brittney was the server and she did an outstanding job. Wife and I went for an early meal today-3pm for valentine day. Winery is excellent. Enjoy and bring money for gifts to take home

We had a reservation but the check-in experience really set the tone in a bad way. We waited almost 10 minutes just to check in, with only one party ahead of us, while 6-8 people stood behind the hostess stand. No greeting, no acknowledgment. When we finally checked in, we were told it would still be 15-20 minutes after our reservation time. When we were seated, I asked for a corner booth and the hostess visibly rolled her eyes -- not a great look. On the positive side, once we sat down our server came over within a minute or two and was genuinely great. Friendly, attentive, and professional. Unfortunately, the food side was mixed. I ordered the braised beef short ribs, literally the reason I came and about 5-10 minutes after ordering, we were told they had run out earlier at lunch. That was a big disappointment. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated, but it's pretty loud, and the entire place had a very strong fish odor. We were told it was from marinating calamari, but it was noticeable throughout the dining room. Food-wise: * Chimichurri rubbed steak was underwhelming and lacked flavor * Rigatoni was actually quite good * Kids chicken strips didn't come out until we were already leaving To their credit, the manager came over, apologized for the kids meal delay, and removed it from the bill, which was appreciated. Overall, service was good everywhere except the hostess stand, and our server really did a great job. With better front-of-house management and more consistency from the kitchen, this place could be much better but as it stands, it was a mixed experience. Today we as their GO so I guess I'll give the another shot and hopefully try the braised ribs.

Service was good, wine tasting in lobby was a fun way to burn 30 minutes while waiting for table. Ambiance was modern. Unfortunately my fish chef special was overcooked to the point I needed a serrated knife to cut it and it came out room temperature. I ate less than half and should've had it removed from tab. My wife's tenderloin medallion was over smothered in sauce. And too much dressing on wedge salad. Prior experiences at CHs in other towns were much better food wise..

Restaurant manager was very pleasant, welcoming and nice. I believe she set the tone for all service of staff and that alone drives appreciation from the community bringing longtime business. My party began and at the wine bar for a tasting. This was the perfect way to enjoy scenery/ waiting before we were seated prior to reservation with good laughs and greater company. We tried several delicious wines. Overall, My only drawback was the time management by chef in the kitchen. Our appetizers came out within 15 minutes of ordering but entrees took 60 min plus before they made it to the table for a party of 2. Given the restaurant being newly opened and properly accommodated for delay we will be back again. The caramel Macchiato Brownie with pistachio ice cream was to die for MUST ORDER ALERT

The service is wonderful. The food is very good. The only ding would be that they sell out of popular items frequently.

It was dark in there, I mean "turn your cell phone flashlight on to see" dark! I'd been in this store when it was a consignment clothes shop many times over the years and I complimented the super petite lady who was helping me on the makeover from retail clothes to retail wine. Inside is a bar that seats maybe 6. I don't recall a TV or any additional tables but then again it was dark. So dark I thought they were closedwhen I approached the door. There was a group of three sitting at the bar. It was absolutely pouring down rain on this Wednesday evening and I really wanted to make my purchase and pop. For additional background, I just got my hair done and my stylist recommended this shop saying he had been several times: once with his Mom and one other time and really liked their pizza, remarking the "wines are a little pricey." I know exactly what I'm looking for and they really didn't have a giant selection of Pinot grigos and certainly not in terms of varied price points. I asked for an unoaked anything and she had nothing in that category either. Hmmmmm. She pointed out some nice wines ranging from ~18-22$ and up. This is more than I usually spend. I inquired about the (very standard in almost all area wine stores and universally standard really) 10% discount and she texted her boss and he/she said "no." I thought not offering that was weird, but I just said, "okay." Weird because it is so standard and weird that the young lady working there didn't know their policies. Then the boss (he/she) said "yes" to the discount. Interesting shift. She was kind enough to carry the case to my trunk in the pouring rain with someone helping her. I never saw a food menu. The patrons were not eating. Maybe I'm the Christmas Prude; however, I just don't enjoy hearing the F bomb dropped loudly in others' conversations. Pretty sure I heard a worse explitive, too. Maybe too much "ho ho ho" went into the patron's wines? Who knows. And I wasn't offered a taste of any of the wines prior to purchasing them. Nor did the clerk offer to order ANY of the wines I was looking for which another sophomoric move. Isn't the idea to have repeat customers? Another fairly standard practice in wine stores. I can't speak to the food, and pizza and flatbreads are not my personal go to items food wise. If you're looking for a wine bar in this area, I would recommend the Church Street wine store in Providence. If you are looking for what appeared to be an extensive selection of champagne (but zero prosecco options) this would likely be a good place for that. Since the couple who own it are really highly lauded for their personalities and wine knowledge and friendliness on Google reviews, maybe I just picked the wrong evening to stop in. Honestly I don't see myself going back, I can get a nice unoaked chard at Target a block away for $20.00 and a decent champagne at Target for around $50. Oh, and the parking lot is super tight in this strip mall. Especially if you park on the west end like I did to have my car loaded. It's tough to navigate just a standard sedan in and out of there.

The waitress recognized that we had a small kid and was very helpful with getting everything out as quick as she could. The mean green egg rolls were amazing! Now for the star reduction.... Cooking a steak right just doesn't happen here. The kitchen manager also seems clueless about how to cook a steak, when to take it off, and what a medium steak should even look like. I ordered my ribeye medium, it came out medium well to well done. They offered to make a new one, which came out purple..... Not even cooked all of the way through. So the waitress takes it back and a few minutes later she brings it back out. Same steak that I had already cut into. The steak was not only very try but again was very overcooked. It was medium well to well done yet again. And more or less she just said sorry about that and left the table. I paid almost $50 for a very dry and overcooked steak. And for a Friday night there were maybe 4 tables sat.

Shout-out to Teylor! The vibe was really great too - the other guests were friendly and sociable without being overbearing and I enjoyed my visit while having a drink. I ordered the Monte Sano Sunset, which is a rum drink with fruity elements to include orange and pineapple juice as well as a squeeze of lime.
